I got admission through NTA NEET examination. and based on my marks cut off I got selected for batchelor of dental science in government dental college kannur. I attended entrance coaching and prepared for the exam.

There are no placement offers here. It's a self oriented course,so the only way to get placed is based on your skills and clinical knowledge . You can either be an entrepreneur by starting a new college or acquire post graduation.
Read Full ReviewDentistry is a well developing branch Our faculties are either MDS doctors or BDS doctors. Some of them are the best ever in dentistry. There will be three exams conducted per year by the college. Two internal assessment and one model exam. One should pass in either of the internal and one model examination to get qualification to write the university exam conducted by kids University exams are little bit difficult we have to do thorough preparation to qualify
We will be doing our one year compulsory internship in our college itself at every department. We will be assigned to each department for a certain period of time . And it's a paid internship. Our college provide no other recruitment or placement other than internship

Anatomy ) and one dental subject ( dental anatomy ) In second year we have dental materials , pathology , microbiology Upto second year there will be theory class and preclinical works . From third year clinical postings starts . There will be two internal exams and one model exam only those students who qualified internal exam can appear in University exam .
After 4.5 years of course there is is an internship program provided by the govt with a stipend of 28000 per month . So being an govt dental college no campus placement can happen . After graduation you can work in private dental clinics. Or prepare for mds examinations .
