JSS Law College, established in 1982 under the aegis of JSS Mahavidyapeetha, is a professional autonomous institution affiliated with Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi. The college has been recognized by the UGC as a "College with Potential for Excellence." In the 2024 IIRF rankings, JSS Law College secured the 15th position out of 50 law colleges in India, improving from its 16th position in 2023.

JSS Law College offers a variety of programs at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. At the undergraduate level, the college provides BA LLB, BBA LLB, and LLB programs. Candidates seeking admission to these courses must have completed their 10+2 education or its equivalent from a recognized university, with a minimum of 45% marks for general candidates and 40% for SC and ST candidates. The fee for BA LLB is INR 2.45 lakhs.

For the LLM program at the postgraduate level, applicants must hold a degree in Law from a recognized university, with a minimum of 45% marks for general candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates. Admissions to all programs are merit-based, and determined by the performance in the qualifying exams. The fee for LLM is INR 1.06 lakh.
