Lloyd Law College Important Dates for 2027 Admission

For the 2027 admission cycle, the exam taking place in December 2026 is named CLAT 2027. Applications remain open until October 31, 2026. The entrance examination schedules are available on the Consortium of NLUs website and the official AILET portal.

Lloyd Law College Courses and Fees

Students can choose undergraduate, postgraduate or certificate study at Lloyd Law College. Most enrolments are in its flagship five-year integrated courses. Graduates seeking a law qualification can take the three-year LLB instead.

The certificate subjects include Contract Drafting, Mergers and Acquisitions, Global Warming, Energy Law, Applied Criminology, Forensic Science, Constitutional Law and Banking. The International and Commercial Law LLM prepares students for work in corporate law, arbitration and transactions involving more than one country.

Lloyd Law College Admission Process

Selection for every programme has two stages: shortlisting through entrance scores and a personal interview. Admissions are based on merit. CLAT is the main entrance route for the five-year integrated courses, while applicants who do not take CLAT can use other accepted tests, including the Lloyd Online Test.

The admission stages follow this order:

1. Applicants are shortlisted using their entrance examination scores.
2. Shortlisted applicants attend a personal interview.
3. The college verifies their documents.
4. Selected students pay the fees and complete enrolment.

Five-Year BA LLB and B.Com LLB

Applicants to these integrated courses must meet the following conditions:

• Pass 10+2 from a recognised board with at least 60% aggregate marks, or 55% for SC/ST applicants.
• Have a valid CLAT, AILET, LSAT India or Lloyd Online Test score.
• Be no older than 20 years in the General category or 22 years in reserved categories.
• Complete entrance-score shortlisting, the personal interview, document checks, fee payment and enrolment.

The available intake is 120 seats for BA LLB and 60 seats for B.Com LLB. Lloyd runs its own counselling rounds rather than joining the centralised counselling process for National Law Universities (NLUs). It considers applicants across a broad range of CLAT scores.

Three-Year LLB

A degree in any discipline with at least 45% aggregate marks meets the academic requirement for LLB. Applicants can enter through CLAT PG, DU LLB Entrance or the Lloyd Online Test. With 150 seats, the course serves graduates and working professionals who want a legal qualification.

LLM in International and Commercial Law

An LLB degree with a minimum of 55% marks is needed for LLM admission. Applicants must also have a valid score in CLAT PG, AILET PG or the Lloyd LLM Entrance Test. The course is intended for those seeking careers in corporate legal practice, international arbitration and trade law.

Lloyd Law College Placements

Law firms, consulting organisations and corporate legal departments take part in Lloyd Law College's campus recruitment drives. In recent placement seasons, the largest reported salary offer was INR 9 LPA.

Lloyd Law College Rankings

National ranking organisations have included Lloyd Law College in their law college assessments. Its 2025 positions are listed below. The college does not currently hold a place in the annual NIRF Law ranked list issued by the Ministry of Education.

The India Today position puts Lloyd among India's top 10 law colleges for 2025. Its law programmes and connections with the NCR legal sector are part of its established presence in the region.

Lloyd Law College Campus Life and Facilities

Knowledge Park-II in Greater Noida houses Lloyd Law College's 4.5-acre campus within the NCR education zone. Teaching facilities are spread across three multi-storey academic blocks. Alongside classrooms, students have access to a dedicated moot court hall, where they can practise simulated court proceedings. Other facilities include computer laboratories, seminar rooms, a student common area and a law library with printed resources and digital legal databases.

Travel connections to Noida and central Delhi include the Greater Noida-Delhi Expressway and Metro access at Pari Chowk. Separate on-campus hostels accommodate male and female students. Depending on the room selected, annual hostel charges are INR 1.55 Lakhs to INR 2.05 Lakhs. For the boys' hostel, the yearly range is INR 1.8 Lakhs to INR 2.05 Lakhs.

Lloyd Law College, Amity Law School and Bennett University School of Law: Comparison

Applicants considering private law education in NCR often shortlist Lloyd Law College in Greater Noida, Amity Law School in Noida and Bennett University School of Law in Greater Noida. These institutions attract students aiming for law firm and corporate legal careers. All three accept CLAT, AILET and LSAT India scores.

Among these three options, Lloyd has the lowest total BA LLB fee. Its presence in NCR legal education dates to 2003, giving it a longer history than Bennett. Amity provides a wider choice of programmes through Amity University. Bennett, supported by the Times Group, has a newer campus and links with media and business law. Commerce students may also consider Lloyd's B.Com LLB, an option that is not commonly offered across all NCR law schools.
