NLU Admission 2025

Admissions to NLU is based on entrance examinations. The admissions to BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM are based on scores in AILET, followed by an interview. Admission to PhD is based on merit in written tests conducted by the university. Candidates who have already passed entrance tests like UGC NET/ JRF/SLET are exempted from written tests.

NLU Scholarships

This university offers a number of scholarships to students. Some of them are mentioned below.

• Central Sector Scholarship of Top-Class Education for SC Students: Students from the SC category with a family income below INR 8 lakhs are eligible for the scholarship, which has only five slots available per year.
• National Fellowship and Scholarship for Higher Education for ST Students: Students from the ST category with a family income below INR 6 lakhs are eligible. 
• Fee waiver for deserving as well as needy candidates provided by NLU vice-chancellor

NLU Facilities

The following facilities are provided by the University to students as well as staff of the University.

• Library: The library of the University is spacious and has more than 37500 books, 180 journal subscriptions, 250 CDS/DVDs. In addition to this, the library has digital collection of large number of e boks from Oxford and Cambridge university press.
• Digital Classrooms: The classrooms are equipped with LCD projector, digital podiums, Wi-Fi access.
• Auditorium: The auditorium is fully air-conditioned and can accommodate more than 650 people. The auditorium in the University is used for conducting cultural programs, seminars etc.
• Seminar Rooms: The University has 4 seminar rooms that are furnished with all modern facilities.
• E-Moot Court Hall: The campus has a moot court that is equipped with audio-visual equipment and can accommodate 170 people.
• Bank: The UCO bank is there in the campus with ATM and HDFC bank is also there which is available in cafeteria area.
• Sports: The sports facility is there in the University and has a basketball, volleyball court, gym etc.
• Cafeteria: The cafeteria is there in the campus which is well furnished and serves hygienic meals at reasonable rates. CCD outlet, amul outlet is also inside the cafeteria for students.
• Printing: The photocopy section is there inside the cafeteria for xerox, printouts, binding etc.
• Hostel: Hostel facility is there in the campus for both girls and boys separately. It has facilities of common room, pool table, TV, gym and so on.
