What I Liked

College location is good ...even food is delicious and everything is just fine
Faculties are well experienced and are friendly

What I didn’t like

College campus is small ... No playground...

Placement Experience:

We have internship for duration of 365 days. We work in OPD and our college hospital. With stipend amount of 30000 per month. A good patient flow is in and we can come across almost all each and every different cases

Remarks:

I was admitted in this college through kea board by clearing neet exam... During our time i.e in 2023 the cut off was around 600 for general category students .... There were 3 rounds of college allotment... I decided my college as BIMS Belagavi in this rounds and got admitted here

The mysterious journey of BIMS

What I Liked

The surrounding environment is very good and I like the campus.
The faculties are realy good and full of knowledge.

What I didn’t like

The lab facilities are a bit old and damages which needs to be improved
The seating arrangement in lecture halls are also a bit old

Placement Experience:

After the completion of the course, there is another exam that is held worldwide for post-graduation based on that examination we get placements in various hospitals, and also for the internship programs in that program we get to work under experienced doctors and after that, we get a degree and the placement in the government hospitals that we are eligible for.

Remarks:

Yes, there was a pretty huge nationwide NEET examination that is necessary for admission to medical college. This is the only examination through which a student can avail of admission to govt medical college.

Good College

What I Liked

The college is located in the centre of the Belgaum city and it is very nice to hear and the environment in Belgaum cities really very good and the package around so very nice
The life in the MBBS colleges something different than other degrees which you can't imagine but it is really exciting happy and nice

What I didn’t like

I didn't found any uncomfortable situation in this college
Don't know anything such mysterious activities in the college campus

Placement Experience:

In our college all seats are only through government merit seats there is no management quota available here and we have to do a year internship after completing our fourth-year MBBS course...

Remarks:

To select an MBBS college we have to take a neet exam and preparation for the NEET exam is more difficult but it can be done through proper study after one month of NEET exam results are published he will get a college-based on your rankings.

What I Liked

We like all about this college infrastructure is very good
We have very well qualified lecture in our college

What I didn’t like

We dislike about campus of this college college campus is very short
Their is no sports ground in our college

Placement Experience:

There is no placement. But the job is compulsory there is one exam to complete this degree. After this degree we got a certificate for our job this is the best job for students studying in this course this is helpful

Remarks:

I chose this because I discussed it with my seniors and I know about Belagavi Institute of medical sciences BELAGAVI College and I got a seat in this college in my 1st round and this is the nearest college to me

Know your college

What I Liked

The faculty is very experienced and approachable
The students get good exposure to the patients

What I didn’t like

The campus infrastructure is not up to the mark
There is no much scope for extracurricular activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty are very experienced and teaching methods have been modernized. They teach more in a clinical way which is very much needed in medical education. The exams are conducted every 3 months and the questions are standard. There are no significant fee hikes the fee structure varies from Rs 60000 to 65000/year

Remarks:

This college was established in 2008,and so far has produced good results.the college is located in the centre of city making it easy to travel. To get into the college one should appear for NEET exam and take part in ALL INDIA COUNSELLING/KEA COUNSELLING.

My dream college

What I Liked

Our college has nice infrastructure , for example our has multi-speciality hospital which is given by government of Karnataka, and our campus is small but it has garden
Our college has more memories like we live like a family .

What I didn’t like

Our college campus is too small , because it is located in the city centre
And our college professors are very strict regarding attendance , if you fail to attend the class , they will Target you in examination

Placement Experience:

Our college will give a stipend of amount 30000 rupees per month for a year in internship after once you passed the 4th year examination. Pgs will get around 80000 to 1 lakh in hospital. Highest package 1lakh per month for 3rd year pg. My plan after getting my degree is to open a hospital

Remarks:

I have chosen this college because it is my dream from childhood to became a good doctor. A good aspect of college is, that our college has well-qualified lecturers with more than 8 years of teaching experience. The bad aspect of my college is we have no ground for playing because it is located in city central. The admission process involves first you have to write the NEET exam (National eligibility entrance cum test) and our college cut-off for general merit is 625. I my self with the help of Rh Chemistry YouTube channel participated in counseling

What I Liked

All college infrastructure are in good condition and faculties are gold medalist

What I didn’t like

Our college do not have aplay group and gym

Placement Experience:

After completing 4.5 years we get a chance to work under great doctors and gain skills to carry on. The doctors were full supportive during our internship so they help us to develop good skills overall personality

Remarks:

Good professors and well experienced professors,and all professors are gold medalist from great colleges and well patients exposure and over all it is a good college with tremendous experience of faculties

What I Liked

College infrastructure is good and well maintained and the only thing that is we don't have any playground but hospitals are good and well maintain
There is no second war about faculties because they are the best as per I know all are experience for about 15 years from the beginning of the college

What I didn’t like

The only disliking thing is that we don't have any playground
We get too many vehicles in the campus produces some disturbance

Placement Experience:

Nice opportunities Belgaum is the largest district in Karnataka it has many primary health centers and many opportunities to have internships and get more exposure to a variety of diseases. During the internship, we get a salary of about 30000 to 45000.

Remarks:

The only way to enter into college is through the NEET examination and counseling. No interview will be held and regarding the group discussions nothing so. Should always keep up the updates regarding the counselling.

My best college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college fee structure is: Tuition fees - Rs. 60100 Hostel fees - Rs. 9000 with Rs. 10000 as advance Library fees and Kannada sanga fees - Rs. 6000 Journals all together cost 2000 per yr No additional fees are taken

Remarks:

This college has a good learning environment and also experienced teaching staff. But the campus is small. There is no ragging in a hostel and seniors as well as teachers are very friendly. Seniors help us with books and studies

Life in medical college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is followed according to NMC, and all the teaching is done according to their curriculum, due to no reservation I am not eligible to get any sort of or kind of scholarships , faculties is very good

Remarks:

I chose this college because it has very good teaching staff and we get more exposure to patients during our hospital postings, and here in our college , we have only 11 people per dissection table, which is good
