Good college for medicine

What I Liked

Infrastructure is moderate but we made more beautiful memories in our college
I love the hostel life particularly during hostel fests

What I didn’t like

Canteen facility is not there and college management gives more important to studies than culturals
We cannot get easy permission for other college fest and competition

Placement Experience:

Job opportunities will be depends upon your PG degree...or you can write MRB for government job (for medical officer) We can also try private job but salary is less Mere MBBS is not enough to survive.

Remarks:

My ambition is to become a doctor.thats why i chose this course.yeah i wrote NEET exam and got 601 mark to get admission in this college.This is my second attempt.I droped one year for NEET. Good aspects : This course is worthy and prestigious Cheap and affordable fee Cons: Since it is a government college, we cannot expect sophisticated facilities like in private colleges Cultural events are self organized Funds are collected from the students You need dedicated to finish this course Final year period is most toughest period

Pride of cmc

What I Liked

Academic block of coimbatore medical college is bulit very well and laboratory hall has good infrastructure.
Faculty is in our college have good knowledge both in academic field and in clinical field.

What I didn’t like

Auditorium in our college was poor in infrastructure and campus life during internship phase was difficult.
Distance between college and hospital was little far so it is difficult to go to hospital during morning and return to college afternoon for periods.

Placement Experience:

During internship we get salary of twenty five thousand rupees, then for studies we have to crack the entrance for post graduate and in medical field there is placement option, we have entrance for Job and further studies.

Remarks:

I chose coimbatore medical college over other college because easy transport facilities available from my native to college need only three hours. For admission every student must crack the entrance exam and need to score well in that exam and cut off mark varies according to their community.

Wonderful experience in my college

What I Liked

College playground is much more bigger than any other medical college in coimbatore
We have to see the patients seeking help

What I didn’t like

Lots of patients are suffering severely from many disease
And it is worrying to see such patients

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement is offered by oru College. You have to get the degree certificate and work in a private hospital orelse you can try post graduate exams or you can also try MRP exams to became a doctor.

Remarks:

Coimbatore medical college is near to my native place that is Dindigul and my parents also like Coimbatore. Our teachers conduct group discussion once in a month. It was very useful for us to talk about all things .

My college diaries

What I Liked

The infrastructure of the college is environment friendly.
The college and the hostel within same campus convenient enough to attend classes.

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure is not upto the mark.
The college and hospital is far away which is hectic to attend morning postings.

Placement Experience:

You have to do compulsorily your internship of your respected government medical hospitals. The eligibility criteria is to clear your all the exams without fail. After completing the internship you can work in other government hospitals or you can pursue to pg examination.

Remarks:

My dream is to become a doctor since childhood so I chose this course over others. I cleared my neet UG exam with 626 marks and applied counseling via online in tamilnadu. You have get good rank in the neet UG exam to capture government seats.

What I Liked

Our college has well equipped classroom and big playgrounds.

What I didn’t like

The distance between the hospital and the college is around 10kms.

Placement Experience:

The college provides one year compulsory rotatory internship after completing final year mbbs. The stipend will be around 25000 per month. After completing internship we can write mrb and work as a medical officer or we can write neet pg. The salary for mrb medical officer will be around 80k per month.

Remarks:

Our college ranks 4th among the medical colleges in Tamil Nadu, after MMC, Stanley and kilpauk medical colleges. The admission process is based on the neet rank. The cutoff for cmc will be high. For general category the cutoff mark will be around 660 in neet 2024

Cmc the best u can get

What I Liked

The college faculty sir very nice and we have very friendly interaction with them and the infrastructure is very good new buildings this with all the latest facilities and gym is very nice I use the gym very regularly and that's so social life and Coimbatore is also very nice Coimbatore so very nice city to room
In Coimbatore are very sweet I love the place so much it is located in the hotspot of the city and have access to lots of malls and shopping complexes and other things which we can enjoy only during our college time many concerts movie halls banned music is in Coimbatore so you can enjoy it like anything

What I didn’t like

We have to travel like 10 km from our college to GH so it takes like half an hour everyday to travel up and down so it is a very tired some activity and make you very tired other than that everything is very good
Libraries are closed during Sunday so we cannot go to Ibrahim study during Sundays and the college canteen facilities is very limited and store facilities is not up to the mark other facilities are very nice

Placement Experience:

Internship of one year is available after final year which provides type and of 28000 per month it helps to gain knowledge about the application of clinical skills in hospital all students whose have completed 4 years of medical education should attend the internship program it is a part of the curriculum without completion of internship degree will not be given to the student

Remarks:

We have to get high score in need UG examination which is held each year to get into Coimbatore medical College you have to score at least 650 above for general category and 630 about BC category and 550 above for SC category so it's one of the top colleges in Tamilnadu and you have to score a minimum of 50 percentage in your higher school exams there is no interview or separate return test for qualification you have to join a good coaching centre for neet preferably Allen or Akash

Read before going to the coimbatore medical college

What I Liked

College campus is neat and clean they have canteen
The price foods from canteen like below 10k per month

What I didn’t like

They have an auditorium and play ground
Thecollege has bus facility to travel from the college to the hospital

Placement Experience:

Since we're from government medical college student we don't have any placements from other hospitals or any nursing home we have to search jobs in the city the college management don't have any placements

Remarks:

There are nothing like exam but u have apply for the course on online in tn paramedical website there are lots of seats but nobody knows about this course not only this particular course there are lots of course like this

What I Liked

College infrastructure is well and good .
Faculties are teaching very well and wisely

What I didn’t like

College and hospital are nearly 9km far away everyday we should go both places
Infrastructure in hospital was not good enough for the doctors daily needs

Placement Experience:

Placement is based on our personal experience. We can run our own clinics or hospital. Orelse we can do PG course after completing pg we can assurly get Job. Min package 30000 to Max 1 lakh based on the hospital

No any group discussion or written tests for admission only through Neet . I dreamt of joining here . I got enough cut off marks to get here. So I joined. Good environment and surroundings in college campus. But hospital 9km far apart from college
