Good course Faculties qualification all Doctors Nice teaching method Monthly one internal exam Difficulty level hard Every 3 rd Saturday is an holiday Other than that govt holidays are all holidays
Since PSG is the most famous and number 1 private college in Tamilnadu the placements and job opportunities are very good . The eligibility criteria is just passing the exam . 90% of students get placed . Plans after getting the degree is keeping a clinic
Read Full ReviewThe college has a really nice reputation in the state and was the best fit according to my Neet marks. The faculty here are very qualified with vast academic and teaching experience. Most of theory classes happen in classroom using best of Audio visual graphics. But the clinical exposure is top notch as well. The exams are pretty frequent as we have exams once In 2 weeks. But the level of exam is moderate and tests out basic understanding of the subjects. The professional exams are conducted by MGR University.
The placement opportunities are pretty great since the college has a great alma matter . Many people have cleared foreign exams to get their residency In USA , UK and Australia. Many people are earning over 30-35 lpa after doing their PG from here. And the placements are almost 100%. As far as I am concerned I plan to appear for NEET PG post the degree.
Read Full ReviewCourse:5.5 yrs with compulsory rotatory internship All the professors are doctors with a minimum of MD/MS degrees. Highly qualified doctors with more than two degrees (fellowships) Integrated teaching Final exams are held at the end of each year and some internal assessments are held every 3 months interval. Term exams are conducted by Dr.MGR University Tamilnadu. The overall cost to complete this course is around 25L for the government quota. And around 70L for management quota. Scholarships are given to top rankers in the university. Student loans are provided.
The compulsory rotatory internship is a must for 1 year after completing 4.5 yrs of study. After completing the course everyone goes for higher studies for post-graduation (NEET PG entrance exam). I plan to take the entrance exam NEET PG/PLAB/USMLE
Read Full ReviewThe faculty and teaching are considered one of the best in India and I agree with that statement because anytime we have a doubt or clarification every one of them is ready to help us out. They are also supportive in the non-academic aspects of student life, as well as in preparing for entrance exams out of India like USMLE or PLAB. They are always ready to help us out with activities like research, paper presentations, etc. and the curriculum is mostly focused on practical and clinical learning rather than being theoretical. The usual minor tests happen around two times a month and the results are given promptly to look for our mistakes and improve the same. The cost to study depends on the category through which your seat is allotted. The price increases subsequently with the lowest being the government quota, then the management quota and the highest being NRI seats.
After the completion of four years of the course, the student is eligible to work as an intern in the hospital, with shifts being allotted every day. After successful completion of the internship, the student graduates with the MBBS degree.
Read Full ReviewMedical laboratory technology is diagnosing of disease. Initially when I joint this course I didn't really like this course, but now I really like this course. It is a 3 years course and 1 year internship. The college provides facilities like lecture gallery with projectors, air-conditioned classrooms for clinical postings and multi-speciality hospital. Food served in the mess is decent. The canteen is mundane, and the facilities available are of a high standard. Medical facilities are available as the multi-speciality hospital is available within the campus. It has a wonderful library with updated journals. Teachers in our college are doctors with a post-graduate degree in various specialities. Their teaching quality is good, and it is well renowned for it. Small group teaching and regular classes are conducted by the best professionals. The course curriculum is relevant. Medicine is a very good field. Faculty members are well-trained.
Many psg imsr students work in psg hospital. There is many scope for this course. Fresher/Entry-Level: Fresh graduates with a BSc in MLT can expect an average starting salary ranging from INR 3 lakh to INR 4 lakh per year. The salary may be slightly higher in metropolitan areas. The future of BSC MLT graduates is expected to be shaped by technological advancements in diagnostics, the integration of information technology, specialization and subspecialization, quality assurance and regulatory compliance, telemedicine and remote diagnostics, global health and infectious diseases, research .
