- The college infrastructure is top tier compared to national average. Most of faculties are helpful, knowledgeable and masters of their fields. The campus life is eventful but also the location of the college is quite peaceful. Overall it's worth it to be here.
- Their research prospects is great and also there is various channels for getting funded for research. The cultural programs are a blast and sports competition are fierce. All in all you would not regret joining.
Dislikes
- The only downside side of it is the overall expense is pretty high. Some faculties can be rude and unwelcoming as well.
- Secondly, the frequency of exams is a bit to high creating a tight situations at multiple instances.
Remarks :
The admission in my college is through Tamil Nadu neet counseling. It's labelled under self financing college. You have to register under Govt Quota if you have nativity of Tamil Nadu. If not then can apply under management or NRI Quota based on your marks in Neet. 65% seats - Govt. Quota 20% seats - Management Quta 15% seats - NRI Quota To be eligible you need to write NEET UG exam the common entrance exam for medical Courses in India The cutoff is about 15-20 marks lower than the Govt clg cutoff of each category. The college might be little expensive but the overall quality of education and infrastructure is one of the best in the country. It also has a 2024 NIRF ranking of 42nd.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college has a really nice reputation in the state and was the best fit according to my Neet marks. The faculty here are very qualified with vast academic and teaching experience. Most of theory classes happen in classroom using best of Audio visual graphics. But the clinical exposure is top notch as well. The exams are pretty frequent as we have exams once In 2 weeks. But the level of exam is moderate and tests out basic understanding of the subjects. The professional exams are conducted by MGR University.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship begins after the 4th year so I don't have proper exposure but after talking to the seniors I can say that they looked satisfied with amount of the clinical exposure and learning opportunities. The stipend is very low and the life at internship is quite hectic.
Placement Experience :
The placement opportunities are pretty great since the college has a great alma matter . Many people have cleared foreign exams to get their residency In USA , UK and Australia. Many people are earning over 30-35 lpa after doing their PG from here. And the placements are almost 100%. As far as I am concerned I plan to appear for NEET PG post the degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have joined the course under Govt. Quota thus my tution fees is 4.5 lakhs Over top of that there is a concept of special fees which can be from 75K to 1.25 lakhs. The fees under management Quota is about 14 lpa. And that under NRI Quota is 24 lpa. This is the basic fees that is to be paid to Govt.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is very eventful. If you enjoy singing, dancing , theatrics or even sports the campus offers lot of opportunities. Around the months of April and May we have are Inter batch sports competition which includes Cricket , Basketball, Football , Futsal e.t.c in team events And badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis and many athletic events. After the sporting event we have our inter batch cultural competitions.... Which is super fun and it goes around for 4 days with numerous competitions to show your skills. The central library has all the lastest Material, reference books , journals and magazines. All the batches have their Instagram pages, there is even Literature club page. The cultural club is also recently started and is gaining lot of popularity.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel facilites are very great. You get single rooms with attached washrooms in my college. The cleaning staff can be called on demand to get your rooms cleaned. There is 24/7 electricity and water supply in the hostel. Warden is also quite friendly. The only thing is quite expensive. Moreover you have laundry facilities which is not quite up to the mark. The food here is above average comprising mostly of typical South Indian dishes. The non veg options are also available. The taste is ok not very great.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
