Remarks :
The allotment and enrolment into medical colleges in India is usually through the common entrance exam, NEET. Once a student clears this exam, depending on the score obtained, they will be allotted colleges through a counselling program. The higher the score, the better the chances of getting allotted to a government college. However, PSG being a private medical college still requires a minimum of 550 marks to get a seat in the government quota, which is the category under which I was allotted a seat. After allotment, the student has to go in person and pay the fees as well as complete certain formalities to officially join the course in that institute. For the NEET exam, I prepared during my 11th and 12th grades, by attending coaching classes at Aakash Institute in my home town, Coimbatore.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty and teaching are considered one of the best in India and I agree with that statement because anytime we have a doubt or clarification every one of them is ready to help us out. They are also supportive in the non-academic aspects of student life, as well as in preparing for entrance exams out of India like USMLE or PLAB. They are always ready to help us out with activities like research, paper presentations, etc. and the curriculum is mostly focused on practical and clinical learning rather than being theoretical. The usual minor tests happen around two times a month and the results are given promptly to look for our mistakes and improve the same. The cost to study depends on the category through which your seat is allotted. The price increases subsequently with the lowest being the government quota, then the management quota and the highest being NRI seats.
Internships Opportunities :
During the undergraduate course, several internships are available, but working in the hospital might not be possible considering patient safety and responsibility towards them. However, after the successful completion of four years of the course and once the student clears the final year exams ( 3rd MBBS part II), the student is required to complete a one-year internship at the hospital, which provides hands-on experience for the students and helps to build better doctor-patient skills.
Placement Experience :
After the completion of four years of the course, the student is eligible to work as an intern in the hospital, with shifts being allotted every day. After successful completion of the internship, the student graduates with the MBBS degree.
Campus Life :
The cultural fest of the college usually takes place for a span of 4 to 5 days, during which the students can engage in a wide range of activities including singing, dancing, painting, fashion walk and much more. They are also awarded based on these inter-batch events. The library is one of the best in India, with multiple copies of all leading books and journals available both for reading there as well as for borrowing. There is also an AV room available to watch medical content online and to real e-journals. There is an annual inter-bath sports event conducted every year apart from the participation of students in inter-college events around the year. There are multiple clubs headed by various students and faculties, each focusing on a different aspect of student life, from academics to extra curricular and recreational. Some of them include the literature club, book club, research club, fine arts club and many more. The hostel rooms are single occupancy with air conditioning .

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
