GMC Udaipur Admission Process

Selection at GMC Udaipur depends on merit in the applicable national NEET examination and participation in the authorised counselling process. The college does not provide direct admission or donation-based management seats outside official counselling.

MBBS Admission

Applicants must complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. They need at least 50% aggregate, while SC, ST, and OBC applicants require 40%. A qualifying NEET UG percentile is also compulsory.

Male and female students have separate campus hostels with mess facilities and 24-hour security. The annual hostel charge ranges from INR 3.50 to 4.50 Lakhs. Academic facilities include a central library, an anatomy dissection hall, and simulation laboratories. Clinical and preclinical departments together have 269+ faculty members.

GMC Udaipur vs Pacific Medical College vs Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences

Among the three colleges, GMC Udaipur has the highest MBBS intake, the largest stated hospital capacity, and the widest selection of postgraduate courses. Pacific Medical College has a newer campus within Udaipur city. Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences is an option for students willing to study outside Udaipur. Admission at all three institutions takes place through Rajasthan state NEET UG counselling.
