The experience of an mbbs student at Siddhartha medical College vijaywada

What I Liked

The college provides the best and enough faculty in every department
The campus life is good. I'm experiencing the better campus life with a secural environment without any communal problems

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure of the college is not that much good
The hostel of the college hasn't reach the expectations for me And the ragging is severe in hostels

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placements are offered but you can do a pg after it The college provide internship program for 12 months after final year mbbs The stipend for the internship is 26000 rupees per month

Remarks:

The exam to get into this college is NEET ug The all India quota general cutoff for last year is about 650+ marks in neet And the hostel of this college is not that much good The rooms are not clean and hygiene The food is not good. The college infrastructure is average

What I Liked

Freedom given here in government college is most liked for everyone
Campus life is a little boring but if you haveunity within your batch you can condut events..

What I didn’t like

Campus life , medical facilities are the worst..
Also hostel facilty and sanitation are also one of the worst things in this college

Placement Experience:

Internship here in government collge is good as there is more patient flow....there is more practical exposure in government colleges comapred to private medical colleges.Internship salary here isgood

Remarks:

The first reason I chose this college is that it is government-affiliated, providing more practical exposure to excel in medicine. Additionally, government colleges consist of merit students and excellent faculty. The fee structure is also much lower compared to private colleges, where the fees are in lakhs.

True colours of Siddhartha medical College

What I Liked

College was good but the classs room infrastructure was very bad ,I think normal classes are better than MBBS college ,no basic facilities in class room
The water requirement in college not there in entire campus this was the major issue in college

What I didn’t like

The basic infrastructure was not there not there ,class room was not good
I don't like the way of teaching in classroom

Placement Experience:

We have a lot of opportunities after MBBS but the salary was less amount. These days PG should be mandatory for every medical student, after the PG getting placement is easy in hospitals.Many students getting PG means not at a time one gets the first time others get prepared for one year they get that seat

Remarks:

The college was very good in academics. the joining process for this college was through NEET counselling, which may be approx 570-590 marks for the general category cut-off for this college. For joining this college give preference in counselling time.

My college

What I Liked

I like how it is situated in the city limits so that we have access to the city
Although it's a government owned it is well maintained

What I didn’t like

The campus is so small and is very congested
It's. Very humid and very hot around here

Placement Experience:

We have to complete the prestigious MBBS degree for over 4 years and work for about an year in the institutional hospital and gain tons of experience We have to be fast and learn the roles and read the situations on point

Remarks:

Govt Siddhartha Medical College is a good college for pursuing your MBBS and Postgraduation courses. You have to qualify through NEET UG exam which is a nationwide exam for mbbs degree The faculty here are heavily experienced and the clinical training is on point

Pretty good

What I Liked

I like the studies and lectutes in my college there is more practical knowledge
The infrastructure is pretty good in my college

What I didn’t like

The hostels are not good they are old bildings
Faculty is good but sometimes they are up to the point

Placement Experience:

There is such thing of place ments in our profession Once we complete our internship then we can join in any other hospital or we can do our masters in any branch that we get after writing pg entrance exam

Remarks:

As per my state rank i got alloted to this college We have to write NEET exam as entrance test I did not face any group discussions and any kind of interviews and i had written a entrance test to get into this college

What I Liked

Good in teaching field of the college ,with an average infrastructure
Faculty is absolutely good and they are very friendly

What I didn’t like

No water supply in the college entire campus
Infrastructure is very worst ,even nrml college is

We have no idea about placement ,may be very according to the percentage and marks may differ and subject and clinical knowledge is different than subject knowledge.whrn you havekre potent clinical knowledge is very healthy placement will happen

Study purpose of college is very good ,no interview taken for joining it is exam written for that admission we put application for college on my marks they give this college,no discussion only the submission of documents occur

What I Liked

We have a large cricket ground and cricket is a legacy conting game in smc
We have a dedicated virology lab in our campus premices

What I didn’t like

Ysr health University is beside our college so the OD works becamo easy if we stud here
The is hostel infrastructure is mind blowing

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement in this college. I am preparing to study abroad i.e in the United Kingdom by clearing plan entrance exam, and planning to pursue postgraduate and super speciality in UK.some students also looking to clear the Usmle exam

Remarks:

No, I haven't faced any group discussion or interview for just admission. For admission just crack the neet-ug with flying colours. Through online counseling, I got landed into this college. just enroll on the ysruhs website.

Good bad feel college

What I Liked

Great infrastructure, great faculty,great campus life inside and outside
Great sports life,great social standards,better environment

What I didn’t like

Slow progress,okay teaching not so great,low health standards in hostel life
Faculty are great but teaching should be better if they make it interesting in learning.

Placement Experience:

As doctors placements and job opportunities are less for an mbbs graduate We need to complete pg for more better job opportunities We need to go for the hospitals as they won't come to recruit us Placements are not like engineering colleges we have to work for a hospital to gain experience and then we can get a decent job

Remarks:

My passion for medicine lead me to avail this college , yeah we have to write NEET exam to avail into this college Good things-give us a free environment to work and study,have different sports,i personally play table tennis and already trying for inter University table tennis games,great climate at Vijayawada,great faculty all are renowned medical practitioners,classroom vibe is even awesome Bad-usually competition is less among my peers,most of the people wanted to enjoy rather than focusing on their career so it sometimes create a negative feature for me about why I took this college but rest of it is great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course was for a period of 5 and half years, fee was 75000 for period of 5 years and there is super speciality hospital attached with college I want to be well defined doctor so I choose this course and according to my NEET ug rank and marks I was alloted this college in the Andhra Pradesh state counseling

Remarks:

Written test is being conducted every year for admission into this course called NEET ug, qualifying and getting a good rank and marks in necessary to get into the required college, overall my college is good academic wise
