the admission is based on the punjab para medical entrance test (ppmet) conducted by baba farid university of health sciences.

a certain percentage of the seats as decided by the government are earmarked for foreign indian students as part of management quota.
nri candidates are not required to take an entrance test. however, they should have pass qualifying examination in the subject of physics, chemistry, biology, and english individually as a regular candidate from recognized /university and should haveobtained 50% marks in physics, chemistry, and biology individually and combined. for admission against nri seats, the candidates shall apply to bfuhs, faridkot.

management seats

a certain percentage of seats as decided by punjab govt. will be kept as management seats. this will include nri seats, candidates from other states and admission to these will be done on the basis of criteria laid down by government notification.
