Pretty nice nehru college

What I Liked

It has a beautiful infrastructure and campus in the river side of nila river
And classrooms and library are also good we can refer any types of books from the library

What I didn’t like

College was little strict for some reasons
College timing was 9-4 that's too strssfull but all colleges in Kerala has this time line

Placement Experience:

Placements are pretty decent almost 60-70 % students are placed in companies at average package of 3lpa and highest was 18 lpa and also provide intership with stipend and all placement cell works well hard to get place us in top mnc

Internships Opportunities:

No iam just a first year student soo internships are not offered to us we can go to intership towards second year they are providing it to us and if we can find our own thats also get support from faculties

NCERC(Autonomous)

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is very good and it is green and clean campus.
The good thing is that now college got Autonomous status which will benfit upcoming students with good up to date syllabus.

What I didn’t like

It's a bit strict and everthing else is fine.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available with an average packages idk much about the packages. The lowest is about 3lpa and highest is around 8-10lpa. I am not sure about it yet but they do provide good placements and support.

Internships Opportunities:

No I have not opted for any internship because I am in my third semister. I have plan to look for internship after my second year and college do provides oppotunities for internship.

What I Liked

I like the infrastructure and the placement of the college on a hilltop, the canteen near the top block has a variety of shakes and a place to relax.
Both nice and worst faculties are present in NCERC, so my opinion about the faculties are neutral

What I didn’t like

The campus life is worst in this college. Mostly no enjoyment, only classes. It feels like a strict school. Doesn't give a college vibe.
Cultural fests and other fests are barely there.

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite average considering the fees. Most of the students are getting placed in various companies. NCERC placement cell has been working for many years providing students with placements. On average 4 lakh salary placements are obtained by the students.

NCERC PAMBADY

What I Liked

The college have many buildings named as brahmagupta is the auditorium aryabhatta is for 2 nd and 3 rd years bhaskara is for 1 St years. And there are many lab and workshop for respective departments.
The college has a big ground for sports activities and there also have camp for football cricket basketball volleyball etc.

What I didn’t like

The main building and admission office is in top area so it is difficult to go there.
There is a lift in the aryabhatta block but sometimes it will not work properly

Placement Experience:

After your S7 semester, you can apply for the campus placement. The college is now autonomous so will lot of companies will hire the students based on your skills. Companies like Wipro, Tata, and TCS are also hiring.

Internships Opportunities:

There are many workshops for different departments. Mechatronics conducted a hands-on workshop on IOT and other departments also conducted skill programs to learn more about the future scope and other details about their study.

The academic case study of NCERC

What I Liked

Very good and spacious infrastructure With good aesthetics and blocks
Campus life is very good with culture events and hostel life

What I didn’t like

The management may be pressurizing and strict And the administration maybe decreasing in in providing support for students after enrollment
Faculties keep on changing causing difficulty in continuity Capability of the faculties may not be satisfactory sometimes

Placement Experience:

Placement from various companies and industries Can opt for further studies,internships and jobs after degree Good training for placement provided Top companies include TCS Wipro Infosys and hardware related industries software related companies specified to each courses

Internships Opportunities:

Time for internships and availabilities are provided by the college and university The college is deemed to be autonomous from 2024 onwards Increasing the chances for placement and other opportunities

Best option for MECHATRONICS in Kerala

What I Liked

Infrastructure is the main positive side of the college. And campus is very wide and greenery. One block has lift.
Faculties of this college is very friendly in nature especially staffs of MECHATRONICS department and they are very helping.

What I didn’t like

Lift in one block is not allowed for students. It is disadvantage of college.
Less practical knowledge is provided. More theory oriented classes

Placement Experience:

Recently placements are better. Companies recruting students based on their skills in technical field and not on based on the cgpa. Skills has more importance in placements and some companies demand zero backlogs. There is no particular cgpa and criteria for placements. Tcs, wipro, scipus, esaf, byjus are recently visited for recruiting

Internships Opportunities:

I did my internship in python at ihub robotics kochi without stipend. Colleges gives particular period of time for internship. And also allows 3 months internship program without any problem in attendance.
