Jyothi Engineering College Cheruthuruthy, also known as JECC, is a private engineering college in Kerala established in 2002 under the aegis of Trichur Educational Trust. The college is NAAC-accredited, affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and approved by AICTE. TATA-JYOTHI IIIC: JECC Kerala has established an Integrated Industrial Incubation Centre in collaboration with TATA Technologies as part of its goal of becoming a leading innovation center. The initiative offers hi-tech courses to make students industry-ready. Students can learn Product Design and Development, Design Engineering, PLM Application Engineering, Product Verification Analysis, Electric Vehicle and Connected Autonomous Vehicle, Electric Vehicle Repair and Maintenance, IIoT Engineering, Advanced Industrial Robotics, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Machine Tool Operator / CNC Operator. These courses are intended to support internships, job opportunities and essential workplace skill development.

Fablab: Jyothi Engineering College has created a mini fabrication laboratory on campus with support from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and Kerala Startup Mission. The lab is equipped with machinery, tools and consumables worth INR 50 Lakhs, all imported from USA Fablab.

Computer Center: The college has computer labs for digital training, student learning and faculty work. These labs have 210 desktop computers, printers, scanners, LCD projectors, two 300 Mbps leased line internet connections and a 20Mbps NMEICT connection. The labs are open from 9 AM to 7.30 PM on weekdays. Students and staff can request services by mail. The labs are used for practical and technical training sessions, short-term courses, national-level workshops, online placement exams and other exams. JECC is authorized to conduct online entrance exams such as GATE, JIPMER, CAT, COMEDK, Cambridge, RRB, NABARD, ESIC, CUET, Bank Exams and NSEIT.

Transportation: Since the JECC campus is located 30 Kms from Thrissur town, the college offers transport facilities for students and staff. It operates 20 buses to transport 600 students and staff members between their homes and the college.

Canteen: The college has an aesthetically developed canteen that serves hygienic South Indian snacks and food items at affordable prices. It remains open from 8 AM to 5 PM on all working days, including Saturdays. The campus also has 2 coffee shops that serve coffee and other refreshments to students and staff.

Auditorium and Seminar Halls: JECC Kerala has an auditorium spread across 725 sq.m in the western academic block, with seating capacity for more than 1000 students. The college also has fully air-conditioned seminar halls named Decennial Hall and Insight Hall, equipped with modern digital sound systems, LCD projectors and podiums. These spaces are used for seminars, guest lectures, cultural activities, staff meetings and other events.

Technology Business Incubator: JECC has started the Technology Business Incubator to support innovation and entrepreneurship. Its objective is to convert science and engineering ideas from students and faculty into products, processes and services for commercial use and social benefit. Through TBI, students and teachers explore Information and Communication Technologies, VLSI, embedded systems, Instrumentation, energy, mechatronics and robotics.

Fitness Center: JECC has a fitness center and gym with equipment such as bench press, pec deck, bicep curl, lateral pulley and body twister machines. Expert trainers are available to guide students and staff. Girls and boys can use the gym from 6 AM to 7:30 AM and from 4:45 PM to 6:30 PM.

Chapel: JECC has a cathedral on the 3rd floor of the administrative block to meet the prayer and spiritual needs of students. Mass is celebrated every day in the chapel for hostellers and for Catholic students and staff on the first Friday of every month in the College Auditorium.

Sports Facilities: JECC Kerala provides large playgrounds for outdoor games such as Volleyball and Basketball, along with Table Tennis facilities. The college also has a 200m running track, a standard long jump pit and enough space for conducting throws.
