What's New In KEAM 2025?
The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala has started the KEAM 2025 Engineering counselling process on its official website – cee.kerala.gov.in. Registration began on July 11, 2025, and will remain open till July 16, 2025 (11 AM), with a registration fee of Rs 2000. The provisional allotment list will be published on July 17.
The Round 1 allotment list for KEAM Engineering will be released on July 18, 2025. Candidates who are allotted a seat must complete the fee payment by July 21, 2025 (4 PM) to confirm their admission.
CEE Kerala released the KEAM 2025 Rank List for Engineering and Pharmacy courses on July 1, 2025. Candidates can view the rank list by visiting the official website – cee.kerala.gov.in and navigating to the ‘Result’ tab.

What is KEAM?
KEAM or Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical (KEAM) is the common admission process for various UG courses offered by the colleges approved by Central & State Regulatory Bodies, Universities, and Government. KEAM includes an entrance exam for UG engineering and pharmacy admission and centralised counselling for UG medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture courses. This means the BTech and BPharm aspirants have to sit for the KEAM entrance exam and the rest of the aspirants have to straightaway move to KEAM counselling (CAP) after registering for KEAM.
IN KEAM 2024
- 1,13,447 Candidates registered for the examination.
- 38,853 were female and 40,190 were male candidates bringing in a total of 79,044 candidates who appeared for the exam.

KEAM 2025 Exam Dates
CEE has officially announced that the KEAM 2025 exam will be conducted from April 23 to 29, 2025 (2 PM to 5 PM) for BTech admissions.The exam will be held in a computer-based test (CBT) mode at centers across all districts of Kerala, as well as in Dubai, Delhi, and Mumbai.

CEE has set the following eligibility criteria for the KEAM 2025. KEAM 2025 eligibility criteria require Indian candidates above 17 years of age for admission.Candidates can apply if they are 17 years old on or before 31st December 2025. Only candidates above the age of 17 are allowed to sit for the KEAM 2025, there is no upper age limit to apply for the exam. No relaxation in the minimum age requirement is permitted.
Candidate must be a permanent resident of India and/or an Indian national. KEAM 2025 also allows OCI (Overseas Citizens of India) and PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) candidates to apply.

Do I have to sit for any other exam to be eligible for KEAM?
Yes, KEAM eligibility criteria state that for admission to Medical and Allied courses, candidates must qualify for NEET (UG). For admission to architecture courses, candidates must have valid NATA scores.
KEAM 2025 Application Process
CEE Kerala is set to release the KEAM 2025 application form on the official KEAM website,with registrations expected to open soon. Eligible candidates can apply for the Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM). Although the KEAM exam does not cover admissions for UG medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, architecture, and pharmacy courses, applicants for these programs must still complete the KEAM 2025 application form.

KEAM 2025 Trial Test Admission Ticket
CEE releases the trial test admission slips for candidates who opt in through the KEAM application to participate in the trial test. The trial test admission slip is exclusively for the KEAM 2025 trial exam, and not for the actual exam day. Candidates are chosen for the trial test based on the order of their application for KEAM 2025. Those who apply for the trial test can access their admission slip by logging in with their ID and password on the official website and selecting "KEAM 2025 Trial Test" from the menu. In 2024, the exam was moderate in general, with Physics being moderate, Chemistry being easy, and Mathematics being long and moderate whereas in 2023 was bit difficult in comparison with 2024. Is 7000 a Good rank in KEAM 2025?
A rank of 7000 may not be considered as a good rank whereas it may be considered as moderate depending upon branch and college you are aiming for.
- If you are aiming for CS/IT/ECE roles in government institute it might be difficult but you may get mechanical engineering /civil engineering and electrical engineering in tier 2 government colleges.

KEAM 2025 Counselling
Candidates whose names appear in the rank list 2025 released by CEE can participate in KEAM 2025 counselling process, known as the Centralised Allotment Process(CAP). CAP will be conducted through the Single Window System (SWS) for allotments to the various courses and colleges under the Engineering/ Architecture/ Pharmacy/Medical streams in the State.
The KEAM 2025 counselling will be conducted online. The following are the steps of KEAM Counselling:
- Qualified candidates need to register themselves for the KEAM 2025 counselling process on the official website of CEE.
- After registration, candidates are required to visit the designated centers for document verification and also need to fill their choices of colleges and courses as per their preferences online.

The University of Kerala provides hostel accommodations for residential students, male and female for all its campuses. There are six hostels that are available at the Kariavattom campus and Thycaud in Thiruvananthapuram: two are for men (postgraduate and research students) and three are for women (two for postgraduate students and one for research students). Research, M.Phil., postgraduate, and undergraduate students are all eligible to be admitted to these hostels.
While Thycaud Women's Hostel admits students from government colleges at all levels, including research and degree programmes, Kariavattom only allows admission to university departments.
Furthermore, the International Youth Hostel, which is situated in the heart of Trivandrum, provides faculty and students with short-term housing. Every year, routine maintenance is done of all the hostels.
