CEE Kerala has extended the KEAM 2024 marks submission date to August 12, 2024 (4 PM). Candidates seeking admission to courses like MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani and Allied courses like Agriculture, Co-Operation and Banking, B.Tech (Bio-Tech), Climate Change, Forestry, Veterinary and Fisheries in the state of Kerala must submit their marks on the official website cee.kerela.gov.in. In the “KEAM 2024 – Candidate Portal”, go to the "NEET Result Submission” link and submit the NEET UG score and other details.  

• If you do not submit the marks within the deadline, you will not be included in the Medical and Medical Allied courses Rank List.
• Earlier, the online marks submission facility was opened on August 7 and the last date was August 11, 2024.

The authorities released KEAM 2024 provisional rank list for Architecture on August 10, 2024. The rank list is created by giving equal weightage to NATA and the qualifying exam (KEAM) scores. You can check the provisional rank list on the official website, under KEAM 2024 – Candidate Portal. If you have any concerns, you must send an e-mail to ceekinfo.cee@kerala.gov.in with the subject 'B.Arch Rank List' by August 11, 2024 (5 PM).

CEE has released the KEAM 2024 rank list on July 12, 2024, for Engineering and on July 20, 2024 for B.Pharm on the official website cee.kerala.gov.in. CEE uses KEAM normalised score obtained in the result and standardised qualifying examination score to prepare the rank list. Equal weightage is given to both the scores for preparing the engineering rank list. For the unreserved category, you must score a minimum normalised score of 10 in KEAM 2024 to be considered.  

This year, 79044 candidates appeared for the exam. Out of them, 52500 are included in the rank list. Note that, you must submit class 12 marks for KEAM 2024 marks submission for engineering to be eligible for KEAM 2024 rank list. 

You could submit the class 12 marks for Engineering till July 3, 2024 (11.59 PM). You must submit the Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry marks. If you did not have Chemistry, then submit Computer Science marks. If you did not have either of the subjects, you could submit Biotechnology marks. Lastly, if you did not have these three subjects, submit your Biology marks.

KEAM result 2024 has been released on June 26, 2024 at the official website cee.kerala.gov.in. You can download KEAM normalised scorecard by logging in to the candidate portal. For the session 2024-25, a total of 21 questions were deleted and 13 answer keys changed in the final KEAM answer key to prepare the result.

Normalisation of Scores in KEAM 

As KEAM 2024 is conducted over a number of days, there occurs a certain variation in the difficulty level of the question paper across sessions. To counter this, so that no candidate is advantaged or disadvantaged, CEE uses the process of normalisation of scores in KEAM. This brings all the test takers on an equal footing. 

During normalisation, raw KEAM scores out of 600 are converted into 300 which is the index mark after normalisation.

KEAM Rank List 2024 Preparation 

Before preparing KEAM rank list, CEE has opened the portal to allow students to submit their class 10+2 marks. 

For KEAM Engineering: 

Subjects in the qualifying examination that are used in preparing KEAM engineering rank list include physics, chemistry and mathematics. In case you’ve not studied chemistry, your computer science marks will be considered. In case you’ve not studied either, your biotechnology marks will be considered. At last, if none has been studied, your biology marks will be used. 

KEAM engineering rank list is prepared on the basis of score obtained after 

• Raw score normalisation out of 300 index marks
• Standardisation of class 10+2 marks out of 300
• Equal weightage is given to both these scores obtained 
• The final rank list is thus prepared out of a total score of 600 index marks. 

For KEAM Architecture (B.Arch): 

• Equal weightage is given to scores obtained in NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) and marks obtained in the qualifying examination. 
• Both these marks will be computed out of 200 each, thus the total score will be calculated of 400 index marks. 

For KEAM MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BUMS Courses: 

• Rank list is prepared on the basis of scores in NEET UG 2024 with respect to the nativity conditions

For KEAM Agriculture, Climate Change & Environmental Science, Forestry and Fisheries courses, BTech Biotechnology (under KAU), Veterinary and Ayurveda:

Tie Breaking Criteria in KEAM Result 2024

Tie breaking criteria used in KEAM result is mentioned below for both engineering and pharmacy courses in KEAM. 

For engineering, the order of preference from highest to lowest is mentioned below:

• Raw score before normalisation in mathematics 
• Raw score before normalisation in physics
• Standardised marks in mathematics obtained in the final year of qualifying examination
• Standardised marks in mathematics obtained in the final year of qualifying examination
• Number of correct response in mathematics section
• Number of correct response in physics section
• If tie still persists, age of the candidate will be considered, that is, the one older will be placed higher in ranking
• At last, if the tie still remains unresolved, CEE’s decision will be considered final. 

For pharmacy, the order of preference from highest to lowest is mentioned below:

• Raw score before normalisation in chemistry
• Raw score before normalisation in physics
• Standardised marks in chemistry obtained in the final year of qualifying examination
• Standardised marks in physics obtained in the final year of qualifying examination
• Number of correct response in chemistry section
• Number of correct response in physics section
• If tie still persists, age of the candidate will be considered, that is, the one older will be placed higher in ranking
• At last, if the tie still remains unresolved, CEE’s decision will be considered final. 

For architecture, the order of preference from highest to lowest is mentioned below:

• Higher score in NATA will be given preference
• Higher score in mathematics in the qualifying examination
• If tie still persists, age of the candidate will be considered, that is, the one older will be placed higher in ranking.

For Ayurveda and other courses that consider NEET UG scores, candidates with higher NEET scores will be given a higher ranking. 

Qualifying Marks in KEAM 2024 

Qualifying marks in KEAM refer to the minimum score tat you need to score to become eligible for rank list and counselling process. 

For KEAM Engineering: 

• You must answer at least one question in the entrance examination otherwise you will be disqualified from the rank list. 
• For unreserved category, a minimum normalised score of 10 must be obtained in the engineering exam to be eligible for the rank list. However, for SC/ST candidates, there is no minimum score criteria. 

For KEAM Pharmacy: 

• You must answer at least one question in the physics and chemistry section of the exam to prevent disqualification from the exam. 
• For general category students, you must score a minimum normalised score of 10 out of the 300 index mark. If you fail to do, you will not be considered for the rank list. This criteria, however, is not applicable to SC/ST category candidates.
