KEAM 2024 Stray Vacancy allotment to MBBS/BDS Courses for the year 2024 is published on the website of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, www.cee.kerala.gov.in. The allotted candidates can take printouts of the allotment memo from the candidate portal.
KEAM 2024 Vacancies in MBBS/BDS courses that have arisen in various Government/Self Financing Colleges after the third phase of allotment will be filled up through Stray Vacancy. It will be conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
CEE follows the KEAM Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) to grant admissions to various Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy and Medical colleges across the state. Seat allotment through CAP is done based on merit, reservation and choices filled during the counselling process. The entire process is online and includes various rounds including a mop-up round if seats remain vacant.

The detailed KEAM counselling process is mentioned below:
Step 1: KEAM Option Registration
The KEAM registration process is entirely online at the official website. You need to register using your application ID and password mentioned on your security card; fill in your details and pay the registration fees.
Step 2: Exercise of Options
Once you’ve registered, you will be required to choose the course and college of your preference from the list of course-college combinations given. Make sure these are in order of your preference. Before locking the choices, you can edit, rearrange and modify the order.
Step 3: KEAM Trial Seat Allotment
Based on the options exercised and your rank, CEE conducts a mock allotment round to give you an idea of the course and colleges you can get. This is not the final allotment.
Step 4: Final Seat Allotment
You can check the final KEAM seat allotment result by logging in to the candidate portal.
If you are satisfied with the seat, you must download the allotment letter containing the college, course, fees and reporting details. Otherwise, if you’ve not gotten a seat, you will automatically be considered for the next round of counselling.
Step 5: Fee Payment
You will have to pay the seat acceptance fee of the college you got in on or before the last date. If you fail to do so, your seat will automatically be forfeited and you will not be allowed for further counselling rounds.
Step 6: Reporting at the Allotted Institute
The last step of the counselling involves reporting to the allotted college for which you’ve paid the seat acceptance fees. You will be required to carry original and printed copies of your documents for the verification process.
KEAM Counselling Procedure For Subsequent Rounds
In case you are not allotted a seat in the first round of KEAM counselling, you can participate in the subsequent rounds. Log in to the candidate portal and confirm options on the option registration page. You will be allowed to alter or change the existing preference set during round 1.
Note: After each round of KEAM seat allotment, the choices of lower preference will automatically be deleted.

The Fee structure for the Medical program MBBS at RGUHS is INR 20,000 per annum.

The University of Kerala provides hostel accommodations for residential students, male and female for all its campuses. There are six hostels that are available at the Kariavattom campus and Thycaud in Thiruvananthapuram: two are for men (postgraduate and research students) and three are for women (two for postgraduate students and one for research students).
