Smart Classrooms: TIST has SMART (Stimulating Measurable Attainable & Reliable Thinking) classrooms in every department to create a dynamic academic environment. These classrooms are equipped with a video/data projector, DVD combo unit, overhead transparency projector and slide projector, along with high-speed internet connectivity.

Library: The institute's main library is located at the center of the campus, making study material accessible to students of all departments. TIST also has MBA and Digital libraries along with 10 reference libraries for different departments. Vivekananda Central Library regulates all library functions. It is equipped with LMS software, surveillance cameras, 25 systems, a projector and audio-video facilities for video conferencing and guest lectures by foreign professors and industry experts.

Hostel: The institute provides separate hostels for boys and girls with accommodation for 700 students at a time.
