Likes
- I like the infrastructure of a college, which is A vast Place and also includes nice scenery around it. The college also has a fab lab and IIIC In integration with Tata technologies, which teaches you different courses on robotics and automation.
- I also like the faculty in the college, not just my department, but the other departments to the teachers are really friendly. Every teacher in the campus are really helpful, and Know their subjects, really well. You are always welcome in the staff room and the teachers sit with you as long as you have, your doubts cleared.
Dislikes
- I do not dislike anything much about my college, but if I have to pinpoint something, I would say about the inclusion of sports during the class hours Because usually one can only access the ground after the class is over.
- The other thing that I dislike about the college is the non-availability of restaurant or a cafe within the college premises, the canteen is good, but it’s not that great. So if you want to experience a cafe like food, you will have to go a little far from College, which seems like a little work to do.
Remarks :
There were no group discussions, interviews, or written test for admission in the college. Admissions are solely based on your rank in the KEAM examination and on the NRI seats. The reason I chose this college is because I have had my cousins who have studied here and told me that the college is worth joining. The college also provides good placements. Jyothi engineering College also helps in holistic and professional development of a student.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The reason I chose this course is because I have also done my diploma in the same field. Hence, I decided to pursue a Bachelors degree too. The faculty in electrical and electronics department are really good and friendly, and they know their stuff. Most of the teachers hold a PhD and are really skilled. Tests are conducted after each module is completed, and two internals are conducted in each semester. Semester exam is conducted once every semester and any student who is appearing for supplementary exams can also do so. The teachers are really helpful and provide us with materials to help us ace the exams. If we don’t feel confident enough, teachers also help us one-on-one and Teach us as long as we feel confident enough.
Internships Opportunities :
I did not offer for any internship during my studies, but there are companies which offer you internships during the last year of your study where the attendance is usually given off by the college and you can attend internships which also gives Stipend.
Placement Experience :
Placements in the college is really good and most of the students get placed by the end of the year. Most of the companies that come into the college for placements require That a student has Maximum of two backlogs. Few recruiters that have visited the college include South Indian bank, UST,TEAL,Cognizant etc. The highest package offered was by South Indian bank, which was of 12,00,00 per annum, and the average package was around four lakh. Around 150 to 200 students got placed in the last year. I Graduated this year and got placed in a company called Harita tech, which is related to my Core field.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees comes around 84000 for a year in the NRI quota,caution deposit comes around 10,000. The fees can vary according to the rank in the KEAM examination conducted by the government of Kerala. STUDENTS JOINING AFTER DIPLOMA USUALLY HAVE A FEES OF AROUND 12,000 TO 18,000. Certain students belonging to backward communities can avail full fee waiver if they produce appropriate documents. Scholarships include the ones given by the government, such as minority scholarships and e grants. students also have to pay for examinations each semester, which comes up ?1000 to ?2000 based on the number of subjects. Students, those who have backlog and wish to appear for Supplementary examination will also have separate fees for it, which comes up to around 500 per exam.
Campus Life :
The fest conducted in our college is called Tharang, which is usually held in the month of January in the even Semester. It’s a really amazing fest and a must attend Which includes various activities and goes on till the night. The library is also well equipped with various books for each section of engineering and also contains a digital library where you can access publication papers. There is also an open library where you can sit the nature and read a book. Talking about sports, Most of the games are played and practiced here, such as cricket, football, basketball, etc. The college also has a dance team This is really amazing. The college also includes many clubs, such as NSS, Google developers clubs etc. which helps students to grow and learn new skills and talents.
Hostel Facilities :
I stayed in hostel, and the experience was really good. I was able to make many friends from different parts of the state. The food is really good with separate options for veg and non veg. The menu varies everyday and it also includes tea and snacks in the evening. The hostel is really affordable, which comes around 5000 per month, and is it two sharing room. A person has to pay an initial amount of 10,000 as a caution deposit and the registration is pretty simple with rooms always available.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
