Introduction

Shatabdi Institute of Engineering and Research was founded in 1999 by Amruta Educational and Welfare Trust. The institute is affiliated with the University of Pune and is situated in Nashik, Maharashtra.

The institute functions from a spacious campus spread across 23.16 acres, with a built-up area of 147906 sq.ft. Its campus is fully developed and provides amenities that support academics, extra-curricular activities, sports and hobbies. SIER is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and offers an undergraduate engineering course across five branches.

Campus Life

The campus of Shatabdi Institute of Engineering and Research is designed to support student learning along with extra-curricular participation, sports and hobby-based activities. Its developed infrastructure and student amenities contribute to academic and co-curricular engagement.

• Shatabdi mohastav: A programme organised by the Department of Computer Science.
• Workshop: A Core Java Workshop conducted for TE and BE students.
• ACE week: An academic week conducted for the Department of Computer Science.

• Paper presentation: Faculty members from the Computer Department have made 2 paper presentations at international conferences.
• Boxing Championship: A student from the Mechanical Department participated in a national-level boxing championship and won 1^st prize in a 7 km mud race.
• Paper presentation: Faculty members from the Mechanical Department have participated in 3 national conferences.
