SPPU PhD Admission Key Points
- Candidates must prepare a presentation of their research idea detailing the background, rationale, objectives, methods, timeline, and expected outcomes/significance of the proposed topic.
- The Selection committee will evaluate the candidate based on:
- Candidate's competency for the proposed research
- Feasibility of conducting the research at the institution
- Potential contribution to new knowledge in the field
- Selection will be based on interview performance and admission will be granted according to category-wise seat availability in the Department of Education and Extension.
- Research guides will be assigned based on available vacancies.
Documents Required for SPPU PhD Admission
Candidates must bring the below listed original documents along with one set of photocopies of the same at the time of the Interview:
- Online application form
- PET Entrance Examination 2024 result or Valid score card of any National level qualifying exam like UGC-NET (with JRF), UGC-CSIR-NET (with JRF), SET / GATE / GPAT.
- PG Marksheet
- Caste Certificate
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (if applicable)
- EWS Certificate (for EWS category)
- UDID Certificate with supporting documents (for PwD students)
- Candidates shortlisted for PhD Physiology must bring a tentative research proposal of approximately 7 pages.
