Shiv Nadar University has opened applications for its Chemistry PhD programme for Spring 2027. The last date to apply is October 31, 2026. The university says the written entrance test will be held online on November 14, followed by an offline interview on November 28.

The call is for students who want to do research in areas such as physical chemistry, photochemistry, spectroscopy and chemical dynamics. The programme is offered by the Department of Chemistry at Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR.

Who can apply

Applicants can apply with a Master’s degree in Chemistry or an allied natural science subject. An MTech degree is also accepted. The official notice asks for at least 60% marks. A four-year Bachelor’s degree can also meet the academic route listed by the university.

Final-year students may apply if their cumulative marks up to the previous year are at least 55%, but they must show proof of 60% before admission. Meeting the minimum marks does not guarantee an interview call.
