Life at Samata Degree College

What I Liked

The college infrastructure is a bit average,the benches are ok
the College is located in a good area,it has good hostels near by,

What I didn’t like

The college is not very well in terms of the looks or the basic facilities at a college
it doesn't have a decent canteen or a cafeteria,the office staff are very rude

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BCA for its ease of subjects and since it has a wide spectrum for software development. The quality of faculty and lab instructor is very poor, although they are qualified yet they don't meet the metrics of a proper lecturer. There are 2 mid exams per semester and one semester finale.They on the moderate side of difficulty level.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for a student at placement is that they should not be having any backlogs. Highest package secured by a student was above 4LPA. My plans after the degree is to start my Masters in the same field as MCA

student's perspective

What I Liked

The environment itself is very pleasant and the system is great to improve ourselves in every field. The faculty are very friendly but stern and most importantly, very supportive.
The library is very peaceful and the books are very informative on the subjects required for the exams and also about different topics which could help us in various aspects in life.

What I didn’t like

I personally wish the ground was bigger because when the events were conducted in the ground, it was a bit cramped. But it was still great.
The transportation was not good as there were two busses and it was very crowded in the busses as there were a lot of students on the bus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i wanted to work on my marketing skills in order to further my studies and ultimately have a good job. the faculty are well qualified. They take good attention to the students and teach them other skills including what is in the syllabus. They sometimes teach the students about life experiences to help them gain awareness on the real world. the term exams were timely and help a great deal to prepare for the semester exams as the questions in the term exams were made after predicting the questions that would appear in the semester exam.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement would be to be able to pass the interview conducted by the faculty and to be able to graduate with good GPA. There were a couple campus placement conducted in our time to help us get into the field which helped us a great amount to work on our communication and group discussion skills. There was a recruiter named, honeybee that came to the college to recruit freshers and also another BPA which came to recruit some freshers. The highest package that was given to a bachelor's student would be around 5 LPA and that is the starting job. the average package was 2.5 LPA. There were about 90% students getting placements in good companies. I plan to do my MBA before looking for a job.

Honest review about samata college

What I Liked

I like nothing there's nothing to be liked in that college I'm being honest
Again I'll repeat there is nothing to like in that college

What I didn’t like

I don't like the faculty, the structure, the place where it is located
They don't provide social activities, no social meet ups the social life is zero

Course Curriculum Overview:

I didn't get admission to the college which I wanted and our Andhra govt started a counselling system When I got into this college it was my biggest mistake to join her at the beginning the faculty was good but they didn't care about us and the syllabus.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is the worst I've ever seen you study for 3 to 4 years paying 40k per year but after you graduate your maximum package is 2.5 lacs the people who are not educated much are also earning more than us.
