The following rules also apply to MBA admission:

  • SC, ST, PwD, EWS, and OBC applicants have lower cutoffs. MBA General and MBA International Business each have 59 seats. The reservation shares are 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 5% for PwBD, 27% for NC-OBC, and 10% for EWS.
  • Paid seats equal to 15% of the intake are filled after admission to the regular seats is complete.
  • Foreign nationals have a reservation of 15% in MBA General and MBA International Business. They must meet equivalent basic eligibility requirements and submit a valid GMAT score.
  • MBA Agribusiness requires at least 50% aggregate marks in B.Sc. Agriculture and allied disciplines, B.Sc. Home Science, or B.Sc. with Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology as at least one subject. Applicants with a B.Voc. in Food Processing and Management under the 10+2+3 system or a postgraduate degree in one of these disciplines are also eligible. SC and ST applicants only need passing marks.
  • Before attending GD-PI, every applicant must pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 2,000 through the SAMARTH portal.

Final merit is calculated by combining the applicant's CAT performance, academic record, Group Discussion score, and Personal Interview score.

FMS BHU PhD Admission 2026

The full-time residential PhD programme has a minimum duration of 2 years and a total fee of INR 5,896. Applicants need a relevant postgraduate qualification with 60% and a valid CRET, JRF, GATE, or NET score. Admission is decided through merit and interview performance.

Eligible qualifications include a master's degree in Business Management, Management Studies, Management Sciences, Business Administration, International Business Administration, International Business, or MBA Agribusiness. A two-year PGP or PGDM that is recognized as equal to a master's degree in management is also accepted. First-class graduates who are professionally qualified Chartered Accountants, Cost and Works Accountants, or Company Secretaries through their respective statutory bodies may also apply.

FMS BHU Diploma Course

FMS BHU does not run a traditional part-time or executive MBA. Working professionals can instead consider the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. The programme teaches essential business management skills and may use flexible timings, including evening or weekend classes, so students can continue working while studying.
