Chetana's Institute of Management and Research (CIMR), located in Mumbai, was established in 1996 under the Chetana Trust and has since developed a strong reputation in management education. The institute is approved by the AICTE and accredited by the NBA. In 2024, India Today ranked CIMR 215th out of 275 colleges in the management category, while Outlook placed it at 125th out of 200.

CIMR offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) program with specialized pathways in Retail and Marketing. Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks from a UGC-recognized university. Admission to the PGDM program is based on scores from any national-level entrance exam, including MAH MBA CET, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, CAT, XAT, or GMAT, followed by a Personal Interview round for shortlisted candidates. In 2023, the CMAT cutoff for admission to the PGDM program was set at 80 percentile. The total fee for the PGDM program is INR 7.85 lakhs.

CIMR Mumbai Placements 2023 was concluded successfully. The average package offered at CIMR Mumbai was INR 7.25 LPA, with the highest package INR 11.15 LPA. 100+ recruiters participated in the CIMR Mumbai placement drive. Axis Bank, ABI Analytics, Reckitt Benckiser, ICICI Prudential, CBRE, EDELWEISS, Acuite, and Kantar were among the top recruiters.
