Yes i have opted for an internship under a psychologist. Which helped me a lot with my doubts and patient handling. I was assigned with tasks like enquiring the patient, observing them, noting the symptoms, etc. This helped me a lot and taught many details. It gave me confidence.

A month ago i got a apportunity to work at a farma company as a junior of a micro biotech scientist the placement was for 3 months but some of my personal issues i had too leave the placement overall it was a great experience

Not too many placements are available in this college but students get job off campus interviews which are provided by college faculty on their groups. or multiple sources like alumni of that college also help us to get jobs to tie up with the college for student recruitment
