What I Liked

I basically like the college atmosphere,there are many trees and all.teachers are very friendly towards students

What I didn’t like

There isn't much placement options, so I am worried about future jobs.there are not many fest in college

What I Liked

There much thing that I liked about that colleges..it mostly like a jail for me bt herw I think it is necessary for selecting a thing which that I liked about that colleges. Even though i hate college and teachers bt there teaching is top cls even they don't have good relationship with students
If u asked me to select wht I don't like I will ssy it immediately..bt its a very tough question to say about wht I like..actually the program which conducted is good..I mean tech fest art fest some program like that is good I have wonderful grp of frnds to these program makes it more memorable

What I didn’t like

The college that screams greed for money...every thing about that clg is money. Idk how much money I had to spend in tht clg idk...for example my seniors got fine of 500 just bcoz they pluck a cashew fruit from one tree..and we got fine of 1000 just bcoz we celebrate holy even tho we celebrated it outside clg etc
Teaching is good bt relationship with teachers and students is very bad. I mean they don't even get frndly with us...they only talk about exam cls no other thing..actually my clg life is utter flop bcz bcoz we can't even talk to boys in that clg teachers will get angry..we can't even spend 15 min in clg if there is no cls..

Actually if u asked why I selectd this course it bcoz everyone told me civil engineering is good for girls so I selectd that. Idk much about faculty qualification bcoz I heard some teachers have very high qualification bt idk about some others. I heard about some of our lab assistant is not even got engineering degrees they can be selected after completing diploma. Teachers are very strict actually it was like spoon feeding typ of teaching. For me even though I don't like that college bt I have to say most of the teachers are good in their area..we have term exams conducted in every two months. Actually if u study A to Z from their notes it will be easy for u. Otherwise it will be difficult

A Journey of Growth and Learning

What I Liked

The College area is limiited as what we see and it's build as each floor for each department. And there are library with all we needed stuff. Also we have digital library for much web knowledge purpose.
Being with friends is another level of happpines. I am greatful that i got them.
Common room is there where we can relax .
There is facility for drinking water too.
Also there are some teachers who help us other than study and support us.

What I didn’t like

I wish to have more food menu in canteen other than some snacks and drinks.
Also teachers should taught us newly and updates things other than what written on syllabus. As when we go for test or competiotion everything was up to knowledge of latest tech and so.
Wish that rules and strictness should be relaxed. Also we can use freely mobile phones inside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i studied my +1 and +2 and Computer science and for me choosing b.tech as cs is best option, as i have some basic knowledge and interest in coding, so i choose this. 1st year we taught basic engineering subject from CSE,EEE,ME, and CE. And 3rd semester onwards we started study core subjects. And what i expect was not i learn. Mostly aorund 93% subjects are theory papers and only we learn java and C as programming language. Now python was added as optional language in higher semester. I never thought i have to learn this much theories, assigments, records and so. Go through a lot of sleepless night and writing these stuffs. And about teachinng method was so boring. They came to class with lap and start reading what's there in the slide, and it go next and next till class ends and same with next period. And there are very very few teachers whom we feel, yeah they know something because of the way they taught makes feel things simple. And the syllabus was so much outdated and old

The Story Of Carmel College of Engineering and Technology Punnapra Kerala.

What I Liked

The college faculty is really supportive and helps in everything they can.
The infrastructure is also really good considering we have everything we need.

What I didn’t like

I dislike the curriculum because it is a little outdated and we don't get to study what is needed now for working.
The college events are also a little strict and not many events happen in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is a little outdated because we are learning only c and java in the programming part and no python. Which defeats the purpose of becoming a software engineer because python is one among the most important languages to know. The academics is also fine not too shabby. The faculty are nice and supportive.
