What I Liked

The college environment is very refreshing and eco friendly
The faculty are very friendly and provides complete freedom

What I didn’t like

The boys washrooms should be improved and classroom should have more technical modifications
The college surroundings contains many open pond and they are unsafe and should be provided proper closed boundaries

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are poor only 60 students got placed in the leat academic year also students don't get enough training regarding the placements also the company coming here for recruitment are not not that top

Remarks:

The reason for me to choose this college it is close to my home and course I am searching is available here. The students are selected based on keam rank and no interview or group discussion is conducted. Just a casual meeting eith the principal.

What I Liked

I really enjoy the positive surroundings in our college it gives us a refreshment to study with concentration
Also the library is a very good place for group study

What I didn’t like

The washroom facilities are good by still it needs improvement
All the lab rooms for first year except cs lab needs improvement

Placement Experience:

The eligibility criteria for placement differs for different companies some the companys are TCS,UST global etc they usually prefer a cgpa of 7.5above and the students have qualify the interview and group discussion the highest package I think is 20lpa . In the year 2024 about 70 or 80 students got placement from college itself. I am just second year and I don't about the complete procedure

Remarks:

The reason for me to choose this college was I completed my 12th from an ihrd school and really liked that management.Also they provided the prime priority for the academics, everything comes after that After studying there I felt the same they really gave academics the promised importance and all kinds of celebration and events were given less importance I did have any kind of interview, group discussion or anything I just met the principal on the admission day I got allotment to that college ather keam exam so I didn't has to write any other exams

All that you need to know about College Of Engineering, Cherthala

What I Liked

The college is well equipped with good labs and systems. There are good quality machines in labs. Labs are there for CSE, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Chemistry and Physics. Labs for the main branches like ECE ,CSE and EEE are the best.
Good training will be given by the placement and cell. Different clubs will help us to improve and develop our skills. Student opinion are taken into consideration. Students will definitely have many opportunities to improve themselves but the only thing needed is your involvement.
Some of the faculty are very good that they teach you to the next level. Some will be very friendly to you. Faculty is very helpful and kind to students. Students have freedom when compared to other colleges. Campus life will be good with good peer groups. Since the college is in a village, people who loves villages will love the college campus.

What I didn’t like

The college infrastructure is very poor and the canteen is having a menu which is very small. The quality and quantity of the food is also average but affordable. Campus life will not be that good if you don't have a good peer group.
Some faculty teach very bad that they don't even know what they are teaching. Some will teach us by just reading the ppt. The college is surrounded by a lot of dogs so it will be disgusting. The climate in the college area is very bad and you will be very much sun exposed.

Placement Experience:

Placements are in an average level. The placements will be in the range of 2LPA - 8LPA. UST Global - 4.2LPA , Vanenburg - 7LPA, Trenser - 4 LPA, Teachnook 6 LPA, Planetspark 4-6LPA. The percentage of students getting placed are 50%. Placements are more for CSE students. Average package will be 3 LPA. To be eligible for placements students should have a minimum CGPA expected by the companies and should not have backlogs more than the number mentioned by different companies. CGPA above 7 will be better to sit for placements and backlogs less than 2.

Remarks:

This college is nearer to my house. The college infrastructure is below average. The BTech in Computer Science is NBA Accredited. The admission to the college was purely based on the KEAM entrance examination rank. No need of very higher ranks. I have 15000 rank only. People with even 30000 ranks are also admitted to different quotas. There are other criteria for NRI quota.

Exploring college of engineering cherthala

What I Liked

The college is eco-friendly and there is pond nearby our classes which make the atmosphere beautiful and there is many corners we can chill with the friends
About the faculty a mam for oops she takes very well and my subject knowledge increased by her classes and lab there are properly working computers are provided and it's good

What I didn’t like

There are many spaces kept empty and not cleaned if they use the space for any like a sitting space it will be good
A faculty for data structure her behaviour is rude for some people she will teach seperately and in lab she scolds in front of others

Placement Experience:

They provides a 7 lpa package from TCS and many are placed and average package is about 4 lpa and hundred percent students are placed from college after the course I will go to abroad and work there

Remarks:

The college provides 100% placement and also NBA accreditation for cs department although I'm a second year student i don't really attend interview there are many internships not all clubs are active

What I Liked

The teaching style of the teachers are good
The library of the college is good and they contain a wide variety of books

What I didn’t like

The canteen of the college is not that much clean
The staffs in the office are not much good

Placement Experience:

Their are many companies offering placements in our college and most of them with a good salary package. The students with almost 2 supplies got placed . The language provided in the colleges are very good

Remarks:

The college infrastructure is good it is located in a calm space and the villagers near is good and they support in every program . Transport facility is in the front of the college and their are no party

A college provided with freedom and good faculties.

What I Liked

The campus life is really appreciated. They provide us full freedom.
The faculties are really good and friendly.

What I didn’t like

I don't like the college infrastructure and building.
The programs and functions conducted by the college are not good.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job opportunities and provided by the college. It has a separate cell or club for this known as the student placement and development cell(SPDC). The placement depends upon the page and performance of the students. The college provides courses for increasing their placement capabilities. The eligible criteria for placement are about 8 GPAs. The visited recruiters include TCS, EY, Federal Bank, Wipro, cognizant, and many others. The highest package was about 6LPA and the lowest was about 2.8LPA. I plan to go for higher studies after the degree

Remarks:

I got an allotment here in the 2nd allotment of the keam entrance examination. Other than that I didn't face any interviews or written tests for admission here. I was called to come to the college to take the admission and pay the fees for the first semester. I had a rank of 20k in the keam exam. I did go for a crash course to prepare for this exam. I went to Brilliant for this. I think the cut-out for the general category was about 17k at that time.
