- The college is well equipped with good labs and systems. There are good quality machines in labs. Labs are there for CSE, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil, Chemistry and Physics. Labs for the main branches like ECE ,CSE and EEE are the best.
- Good training will be given by the placement and cell. Different clubs will help us to improve and develop our skills. Student opinion are taken into consideration. Students will definitely have many opportunities to improve themselves but the only thing needed is your involvement.
- Some of the faculty are very good that they teach you to the next level. Some will be very friendly to you. Faculty is very helpful and kind to students. Students have freedom when compared to other colleges. Campus life will be good with good peer groups. Since the college is in a village, people who loves villages will love the college campus.
Dislikes
- The college infrastructure is very poor and the canteen is having a menu which is very small. The quality and quantity of the food is also average but affordable. Campus life will not be that good if you don't have a good peer group.
- Some faculty teach very bad that they don't even know what they are teaching. Some will teach us by just reading the ppt. The college is surrounded by a lot of dogs so it will be disgusting. The climate in the college area is very bad and you will be very much sun exposed.
Remarks :
This college is nearer to my house. The college infrastructure is below average. The BTech in Computer Science is NBA Accredited. The admission to the college was purely based on the KEAM entrance examination rank. No need of very higher ranks. I have 15000 rank only. People with even 30000 ranks are also admitted to different quotas. There are other criteria for NRI quota.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I love programming. The faculty here is well qualified and the method of teaching of some faculty are very good and some other's are only in an average level. Two internal examinations will be compulsorily done for the Theory papers in every semester and an internal will be there for lab before the semester examinations. The difficulty level of the term examinations are easy to medium.
Internships Opportunities :
Tecgentsia in the infopark provides an internship with 0 stipend on doing a project. Different student teams can work for different projects. Different members work for the front-end, back-end and other areas of project.
Placement Experience :
Placements are in an average level. The placements will be in the range of 2LPA - 8LPA. UST Global - 4.2LPA , Vanenburg - 7LPA, Trenser - 4 LPA, Teachnook 6 LPA, Planetspark 4-6LPA. The percentage of students getting placed are 50%. Placements are more for CSE students. Average package will be 3 LPA. To be eligible for placements students should have a minimum CGPA expected by the companies and should not have backlogs more than the number mentioned by different companies. CGPA above 7 will be better to sit for placements and backlogs less than 2.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees per year for students admitted through different quotas in rupees as are as follows: Merit - 35000 Management - 65000 NRI - 100000 EWS(fee waver) - 0 SC/ST/OEC -fees will be completely taken from the egrantz money In addition to all these every one except SC/ST/OEC have to pay an exam fees for every semester that may vary from 1500 - 3500. In the beginning every one have to pay : Caution fees - 5000 PTA Fees - 7000 Bus maintenance fees - 4000 Registration fees - 10000 Admission fee - 500 Tuition fee - 25000 Student administration fee - 1000 student amenity fee - 500 exam fees - 1500 ID card - 150 Other GIS - 110 Scholarships like E-grantz, Merit cum means, AICTE Pragati, Fisheries scholarship etc are available for students.
Campus Life :
Every year there will be an annual sports day, college day and Arts day conducted. There was a tech fest conducted in the year 2022 named zealus. There are a good collection of study materials including journals and textbooks in the library. The collection of other books like story books and magazines are meager. There are a lot of clubs like NSS, IEEE, SPACS, IEDC , GDC and many more to conduct different kind of activities that give different experiences to students. All these are done by the students themselves with a guidance if needed only from the faculty.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 2 hostels for girls and 3 hostels for boys. In addition there are other PG available nearby. There is a caution deposit in the beginning for hostels during the registration. The fees are affordable when compared to other college hostels but the food is very less nutritious.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
