Amazing placement opportunities as far as the past numbers are taken in consideration. Our placement haven't started yet so no personal opinion. But we get a lot of training from second year onwards so nothing to worry.
Muthoot college is one of the top private college in the state. And also being close to my house, for the reason of convience and top standards of teaching, i chose the college. I did face a group discussion with the vice principal. Admissions are mostly based on entrance scores and quotas like NRI, sports, etc. No other in college exams to be written. Amazing infrastructure and teaching standards. Talking about the bad aspect would be less in college activities and programs.

I chose this colleage due to its fame.this college is well known for its result and every one here studies so well.this college is also famous for campus placement a lot of companies come here to offer jobs to the graduating students
Read Full ReviewThe placement cell in the college is good. They try to bring good companies for students. Each year they are improving a lot. They also provide coaching both online and offiline. But the companies which they bring are mostly IT, so for students from EC, Mechanical and other branches doesn't have options. Abount 70% students gets placed. Some of the companies that visits are IBM, EY, UST, MyGate, TCS.
There is an exam called Keam to enter into any engineering college in Kerala so on clearing a certain bar of rank you can be selected into this college. They also consider 12th marks. This college provides a variety of scholarships that's trims the overall fees., that's the reason I chose this college. Also they don't ask for a donation.
Read Full ReviewThe reason i chose civil engineering as a major is because of family background like my family members have been in the construction field. The faculties are very well qualified with many years of experience and their notes are very usefull. The course difficulty for me is average like its not too hard or too easy. The curriculum is also moderately difficult but also not so easy.
Since i took admission under govt quota i did not have any interview sessions but there are interview sessions for students who are seeking merit quota. The reason why i chose this college is because they have been ranked 2nd position among all the engineering colleges in kerala. And they have been known for their placements and teaching.
Read Full ReviewA student needs to have a cpga of atleast 7.5 to attend placements(having 8 is good).the average packages are around 4.5 lacks per annum and all skilled students get placed.having no history of backlog is a massive advantage too.companies like TCS,vguard,Wipro etc and students get placed on their own by the skills they acquired in their course.
This college holds the record for highest percentage of students passing out every year among private colleges in Kerala and second overall in Kerala with really goood placement. To get admission in allotment nice ranks are required by acing the keam entrance exam and plus 2 exams which can be prepared by self study. The admission process is really smooth .just need to go with appropriate documents and handle the process .
Read Full ReviewThe course I opted for was ECE under KTU University and it offered me a curriculum that makes one industry-ready once after course completion. The college did have very intellectual and friendly faculty members as well. The labs, sports etc are great.
The College offers a huge list of companies for placements and also offers very good scholarships based on senior secondary scores. I was told about the college by my friends and relatives as well. Also, the hostel facilities are great
Read Full ReviewFor the placement, there is a placement cell provided. They arrange placement for students with some criteria. students should have passed all papers and have a minimum cgpa 7. Sometimes, students with a maximum of 3 to 5 supplies can also sit on placement interviews.
A lot of placements are there...Good labs with well-abled faculties. There were group discussions, face-to-face interviews, etc for admission. College management has a planned structure for each semester and they establish it as well.
Read Full ReviewThe faculties are fully academic-centred. The curriculum is not very hard to cope with till now. Regarding academics, I'm not doing too bad considering how bad my 12th and my keam entrance were. I have maintained a cgpa of 7.0 with no history of back papers
I joined this college as a recommendation from my cousin who is currently in the 3rd year of his engineering course in Electronics and communications. I wrote my team entrance exam in which I only managed to get a rank of 37731. With the rank that I had no college was ready to accept me on a merit basis however, er MITS were offering NRI seats for artificial engineering and data science. I didn't waste any time in enrolling for a seat and got my admission within a few days. The college is very serious about academics and currently is 3rd among all KTU engineering colleges in terms of their S8 results. The college however lacks some infrastructure and also lacks the provision to set up functions, art festivals and other leisure programs for the students. The admission process was simple. All I had to do was enroll in their online website submitting all my details and the very next day I received a call regarding an appointment being fixed in the management cell for the admission process.
Read Full ReviewI am interested in Cybersecurity and that's the reason I chose this course. Now I'm a first-year student so I don't know much about the upcoming curriculum but according to the small research I've done the curriculum is pretty updated compared to other CS branches. The cybersecurity branch in this college is new and I belong to their second batch. The first-year curriculum is the same for all branches. Most of the faculties in this college have patents and doctorates so there's no problem in seeking more knowledge. I won't say every faculty is good but most of the faculties are good. If we can't catch up on something we can even refer to the college library. Faculties will be a bit strict about the academics for the first year but it will turn out well. None of the faculties will be involved in personal matters except academics. That's the biggest plus point of this college. Also, there are a lot of clubs to attend workshops or participate in any kind of competitions. These all are encouraged.
This college provides scholarships for academically excellent students. They post a rank list of students who applied for the scholarship. It is conducted way before the allotment of the Kerala engineering exams. The rank list is based on the KEAM rank and our 12th board marks especially in maths. They will post a rank list and will conduct a meeting for the students in the rank list for a specific time. The ones who got higher ranks will be called out first and in that meeting we can choose which course we would prefer. The competition is very tough as the reserved seats for the scholarship are low plus most of the high rank people tend to choose CS subjects. I also applied for this scholarship and got cybersecurity as I did well in math. The scholarship I got is the best one as the tuition fee is very low. But there is no change in hostel fees. There is no specific examination at this point. More details can be found at the college's official website.
Read Full ReviewArtificial Intelligence as we all know is growing to be a very popular technology and in the coming years, our world will be completely dependent on Artificial Intelligence. This technological advancement needs enthusiastic minds behind them to solve real-world problems. I am very keen on learning about our current technological advancements due to AI and hope to work on an AI-based project that can bring about a huge change shortly and this is mainly why I have chosen this course. Most faculty members are highly qualified and do a great job in helping us understand concepts from the base and have a thorough understanding. They are also very friendly and available for help whenever we require. The term exams are divided into 2 internal exams that are conducted during a semester. Exams are of moderate level difficulty. The internal exams along with assignments and tutorials add up to our final internals which are submitted to the University as final internal grades.
I had entered through the NRI Quota provided by the college for admission to the Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Course and hence did not attend any kind of exam. I had attended a small interview with the Vice Principal of the college. The main factor in choosing Muthoot Institute of Technology was due to the outstanding placement packages offered by the college and the results that the college has maintained over the few years since it started. The college also offers a student-friendly campus and other extracurricular activities and promotes all kinds of extracurricular activities as much as academic activities.
