What I Liked

I like the campus life because it creates so many memories in the whole 5 years

What I didn’t like

The college is situated away from the main city And in this city there were no that much things to explore

Placement Experience:

Yes campus allow us to do intern for one year which will makes u a best practioner and you can able to handle patients in a polite manner There will be professors and PGs guiding you all the time in Internship period

Remarks:

It was an old college There will be seniors in all professional years so we can make a senior-junior relationship Seniors helps us in all aspects It was an old college so staffs and professors were well experienced

College review of GSMCH

What I Liked

Simple campus, small and cosy with a lot of trees and not so friendly people.
Campus life is absolute horror because of pressure and stress to be truthful. Mbbs I tough.

What I didn’t like

Maintenance of college, compared to other private colleges it's very poor in maintanence. Faculty are cool. Campus life is irritating.
I dislike the fact that the college infrastructure is old compared to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

You will be a crri which means an intern in this college hospital where you will be paid. This is the job opportunity. Other than that, after one year, we gotta write the pg exam and get a pg seat in a government college hopefully for pursuing further. Otherwise it's very expensive. Just mbbs is not really very fruitful. You will just work here if you pass your 4th year exams and package on average is 25000. Everybody who passes will get a placement here with stiffend. Mbbs is different.

Remarks:

This college is small and like a school actually with 100 people so the faculties can focus on individual student unlike other big medical institutions. It's also very friendly compared to other colleges. It's not too much or too little Just right for a quiet guy like me. No discussions, interviews or written tests for admission.

Gsmch place to study

What I Liked

Playground was a really a good place and the facilities was awesome
Environment is completely econfriendly and peaceful

What I didn’t like

Parking ,library , store is really a nice area place to get chill out
And hospital is not up to the range and the classroom was average

Placement Experience:

U can get easy placement once u passed out of the college . There are many hospitals who recruit doctors from our college and there are chances to get work in the same college as professors , assistant professors etc

Remarks:

Place was so quiet and peaceful. It is near to my home so I can go to home whenever possible and due to its infrastructure I choosed this college. The only entrance exam to get into this clg is neet ug.

About life and facilities in Govt Sivagangai medical College

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course I have chosen is MBBS and the curriculum is anatomy, physiology, biochemistry for 1st year and pathology, microbiology, Pharmacology and rest 11 subjects in upcoming years and last year is internship program and well professional faculties in our college with smartboard and projector for taking class

The fact I chosen this college is because it is near to my hometown and I have written and completed my NEET exam with eligible score to enter this college and good aspect about my college is good professional staffs for teaching us

Reflections on my campus

What I Liked

Hostel mess.The food is not bad here.it is tasty and have nutritional value
Environment.The college is surrounded by a great number of trees which provides shade and coolness.

What I didn’t like

Campus life.Always feel like it could have been better.
Infrastructure.it is improving.New buildings are being constructed here

Placement Experience:

Since we are medical students the job opportunities are highly top.After the graduation we can write the job application tests all over india and get a job as a doctor. My plan is to finish the degree and get a job as doctor in my honetown

Remarks:

I got the admission through neet examination.I got the college through second round allotment. I had 620 marks in the neet examination.This was the college i got i the allotment process. Good aspect is that the all the necessary facilities and helps are available in this college. You can study and learn to become a great doctor without any obstructions.

Life in GSMCH

What I Liked

Student faculty interaction is very good
More patients are allowed for the learning purpose

What I didn’t like

College is located in a remote area tourism is very low
Many street dogs are present around the college campus it looks very scary

Placement Experience:

There will be no placements given in medical Colleges. A year of internship is compulsory in medical College. In our college interns are paid 25000 per month currently. The amount may vary depending on the college

Remarks:

I chose this college because it is near my native madurai. Good aspect Students strength is only 100 hence there will be good student faculty interaction. Bad aspect College is located in a remote area tourism is minimal. Admission process To get admission in a medical College you have to write neet exam and qualify in it. According to the cutoff marks for your category and the college you choose you will get allotment. Counselling will be conducted in 4 rounds in tamilnadu.

Life at Sivaganga

What I Liked

College infrastructure is adequate with enough labs and lecture halls and a good hostel
Faculties are all loving and caring. Campus Life is great bcz of good friends

What I didn’t like

Not having a big ground or a tennis ot badminton court.. bad roads within the campus
The teaching method of faculties aren't that great. Campus Life is dull due to the hectic schedule

Placement Experience:

No placement is provided by college but mbbs is a highly employed course .it is easier to get a job. One year internship is provided by the college with stipend of 30000 which helps us to grow as a doctor . all most 100% graduates get job.i plan to pursue a pg courses after ug

Remarks:

The admission procedure was based on all india neet rank. That is through all india counselling. So it was purely based on my priority list and rank. Before joining i wasn't aware of the college. So it wasn't really my decision to choose the college

Govt Sivangai medical college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The period of the course is 5 and half years which also includes internships. The fee is 18k per year excluding your book, exam, and all other extra chargers. The faculties here are usually doctors.

Remarks:

This is a good college followed by good coaching when compared to other government medical colleges. No, for admission to this college, u need to score a decent mark in the NEET examination conducted by the NTA. And there is counseling for this entrance.
