I chose dentistry as I was always interested in the artistic and healing aspect of it. People think it is easier than MBBS which is not true. We have to study both medical and dental subjects . The faculty have all completed their masters degree and can hence assist you with any kind of difficulty you are facing in the clinics . The teaching method is pretty good. We tend to learn better when we're taught something in the classroom and the same is shown to us in labs/clinics. Almost everything we learn is taught this way ,which makes it more interesting. Now coming to the exams , we have 3 internals and one final exam every year. The internals are timed at 3 month intervals and the final exam is conducted by the University at the end of each academic year. For all of these exams , studying previous years question papers in detail should suffice. We need a minimum of 50% to pass each academic year .

Since this is a dental college .students are required to learn skills required in this dental profession and utilize their time properly to do as much as possible patients . Daily outpatient number is good if u take efforts and and take interest in doing the cases . Students after graduating generally opt for PG courses or learn general dentistry under some senior dental practioner to further improve their skills .
