I chose dentistry as I was always interested in the artistic and healing aspect of it. People think it is easier than MBBS which is not true. We have to study both medical and dental subjects . The faculty have all completed their masters degree and can hence assist you with any kind of difficulty you are facing in the clinics . The teaching method is pretty good. We tend to learn better when we're taught something in the classroom and the same is shown to us in labs/clinics. Almost everything we learn is taught this way ,which makes it more interesting. Now coming to the exams , we have 3 internals and one final exam every year. The internals are timed at 3 month intervals and the final exam is conducted by the University at the end of each academic year. For all of these exams , studying previous years question papers in detail should suffice. We need a minimum of 50% to pass each academic year .

I chose this course since I wanted to be a healthcare professional. Faculties are well educated and experienced,they do give interest in teaching in you the subject matter . Exams were conducted in timely manner with proper discipline and without any discrepancies.Exams were apt to prepare us for final examinations of the university which were held at the end of the year . There are variations in fee structure as follows 1.Those who come through merit has to pay around 1.25 lac /yr 2.Those who came through managament had to pay between 3-5 lacs /yr .
