The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET MDS Counselling 2025 through its official portal – mcc.nic.in/mds-counselling. The counselling will be held in three rounds, followed by an online stray vacancy round.

The Round 2 seat allotment result was declared on July 18, 2025, and candidates must report to their allotted institutes between July 19 and July 27. The Round 3 seat allotment result will be released on August 8, and the stray vacancy round result will be declared on August 23, 2025.

The National Board of Examinations (NBEMS) has announced the NEET MDS 2025 result on May 15, 2025. Candidates can download their rank cards from the official website, natboard.edu.in, by logging in with their user ID and password.

NBEMS has also published the NEET MDS 2025 result in the form of a merit list. The overall merit list includes the candidate's roll number in ascending order, application number, total marks out of 960, and rank.

The individual scorecards for candidates who appeared in NEET MDS 2025 will be available for download from the NBEMS website natboard.edu.in starting May 24, 2025. The scorecard will be accessible for a period of six months only.

What is NEET MDS?

NEET MDS known as the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery is a national-level exam, conducted annually for admission to Postgraduate Dental Courses across India under 50% state quota and 50% All India Quota. The Medical Counselling Committee releases the NEET MDS seat allotment after the registration for counselling is completed. The seat allotment of NEET MDS is done based on the candidate’s score in the exam, seats available, and preferences filled.

• Candidates who have been allotted seats will have to download the NEET MDS 2025 allotment letter.
• The seat allotment letter consists of details like the candidate's name, college allotted, rank, etc.
• For the admission process, candidates need to carry the seat allotment letter along with the necessary documents at the allotted university/ college/ institute.

NEET MDS 2025 Rank Card

The NEET MDS rank card consists of the rank obtained by the candidates in the exam. NEET MDS Tie Breaker Criteria

If two or more candidates obtained the same marks in the NEET MDS exam, the rank is determined using the following tie-breaker criteria:

• The candidate who has a lesser number of incorrect responses in the overall paper (Part A & B) shall be placed at a higher merit position.
• If the tie still persists, the candidate with the higher score in Part B of the question paper shall be placed in a higher merit position.
• If the tie still persists, the candidate who has a lesser number of incorrect responses in Part B of the paper shall be placed in a higher merit position.
• If the tie still persists, the date of birth of the candidate will be taken into consideration. Older candidates will be placed in a better merit position.
