I take this institute because it is a government college with a affordable fee and good academic reputation which makes it a practical choice. The college also has experienced faculty.It's location in jalpaiguri ,West Bengal and admission through a state level exam.The admission process is based on the WBJEE. There is no Group Discussion, Personal Interview or separate written test conducted by the college. Admission is merit based, depending on the rank in WBJEE, followed by counseling. The cut off rank varies each year. For preparation I focused on the 11th and 12th syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, and mathematics. Practicing previous year question papers and taking mock tests. The good aspects of the college include low fees, availability of scholarships, supportive faculty, and affordable hostel facilities. However, the drawbacks include no in campus placement opportunities, and infrastructure that is not as advanced as top private colleges. Overall, it offers good value for money.

It is the oldest diploma pharmacy college in India and the only government pharmacy college in west Bengal. The minimum cut-off for this college is 7000 PMR. The laboratory of this college is very well decorated and the galleries are enough big to contain 100 students. The professors are very friendly with students as well as they hold a minimum degree of PhD in Pharmacy.
