Steps for BA, B.Sc, and B.Com Admission

1. Complete Class 12 from a recognised board. BA accepts students from any stream, while B.Sc requires Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.
2. Take CUET UG because the score determines the merit position for aided seats.
3. After the CUET UG result, register on the VBSPU admission portal.
4. Join the university's centralised counselling and complete the seat-allotment process.

TD College does not set a separate minimum percentage cutoff for aided UG seats. Allotment depends on the applicant's CUET UG merit position during counselling.

Steps for B.Ed Admission

1. Hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks.
2. Appear for the UP Joint B.Ed Entrance Examination, which a designated state university conducts each year.
3. Participate in UP B.Ed counselling if shortlisted. TD College is one of the participating institutions to which seats may be allotted.

Steps for LLB Admission

1. Complete graduation in any stream with at least 45% marks.
2. Apply using graduation merit or a valid CLAT score, as permitted under VBSPU guidelines.

Tilak Dhari P.G. College Career Outcomes

TD College does not have a formal campus placement cell. Students usually build careers through competitive examinations, teaching, legal practice, agriculture, or private employment. Its large Arts and Science departments prepare many graduates for government examinations and teaching opportunities in Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states.

Many MA and M.Sc graduates take UGC-NET, JRF, and PhD entrance examinations held by VBSPU or national bodies. The college's long-running humanities and social science programmes have also produced a steady stream of candidates for the Uttar Pradesh civil services.

TD College has a 75-acre campus in Husainabad, 2.5 km from Jaunpur City Railway Station. The site supports more than 12,000 students and the college's broad range of academic departments.

Facilities include a central library and separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, and Agricultural Science. LLB students have access to a legal aid clinic. The college also has a sports complex and an auditorium used for convocations, seminars, and cultural programmes.

There is no hostel on the campus. Students generally rent accommodation in Husainabad or use student lodgings elsewhere in Jaunpur. Auto-rickshaws and other local transport connect the college with Jaunpur's bus stand and railway station.

Students from Eastern Uttar Pradesh may compare TD College with Shibli National College in Azamgarh and UP College, formally Udai Pratap Autonomous College, in Varanasi. All three are established government-aided degree colleges in the region.

Shibli National College has the higher B++ NAAC grade and serves Urdu-medium students and applicants from Azamgarh district.
