Buddha Institute of Technology established in 2008 is a private institute located in the Industrial Area, Gaya on Bodhgaya Road. BIT Gaya is approved by AICTE and is affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU). The college offers several courses like BTech, BBA, BCA, and B.Com. Admission is granted on the basis of their performance in the entrance test, group discussion & personal interview, or through the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination(BCECEB). However, the final selection will be based on the total marks obtained by the candidate in the written test as well as in the interview.

The B.Tech course is offered in Computer science, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and communications, and Mechanical Engineering. The course fee is INR 3,500 per semester. The college provides 100% assistance in getting placements in well-known companies.
