What I didn’t like

"The following facilities are available at Kalimpong College: The college is equipped with high-class library with a wide variety of books The college has a huge ground and conducts sports activities. The college also has an NSS unit, which aims to promote national consciousness and inculcate a sense of social responsibility The labs in the college are highly equipped with modern apparatus for science and commerce students."

Placement Experience:

"The students passing out from this college have been recruited in some really good company’s and have achieved great success in their lives. Academic Year No. of students placed Median salary of Placed graduates 2015-16 5 INR 85,000 2016-17 4 INR 1,50,000"

Remarks:

My decision for choosing Kalimpong College because it is one of the oldest colleges in West Bengal, established in the year 1962. It is affiliated to the University of North Bengal, accredited with Grade B++ by NAAC. Also recognised by UGC. Kalimpong College is a government aided college which offers a variety of undergraduate courses in the science, commerce and arts fields. All admissions are based on scores obtained in the previous qualifying examination.

I don't recommend kalimpong college

What I Liked

The area is suitable for students as it is not very compacted.
The fees are affordable as it is government college

What I didn’t like

I don't recommend this college to my junior as the infrastructure is poor
The faculty is also poor management as far it is concerned

Placement Experience:

No placement or job opportunities are given after the completion of the course. Some of the company would come to college but to advertise their further academic program. After my completion I am doing a course in hotel management

Remarks:

It was COVID time so I had no other option to join different college. No I did not have to sit for interview or tests. My name was listed out after I had given my 12+ certificate to the main office and
