Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose BBA as my course as I was attracted by business-related subjects since Class 11th and so I pretty much made up my mind in Class 12th itself that I wanted to opt. for BBA afterward. The course I chose is BBA and to be fairly honest, 1st year is pretty much a revision of Class 11th and Class 12 (Commerce).

Remarks:

The location of CPIBA and the overall environment of the college were the first things that made me attracted to the college. The admission process is fairly easy for the students and the cut-off is also kept average so that students can easily opt for the college.

Placement Experience:

Based on the provided sources, work placements are valuable opportunities for students to gain practical experience in the working world, enhance their skills, and clarify their career goals 3 2 1 . Work placements are usually part of a university degree, providing students with the chance to step away from their studies and apply their knowledge in real-world settings 3 . These placements can be part of a 'sandwich' year, offering academic credit and a structured learning experience 3 . Work placements differ from internships, as they are typically taken as part of a degree program, while internships are often undertaken over the summer or after graduation 3 . Students can arrange their own placements, with support from university career services, and placements can vary in duration and whether they are paid

Remarks:

The factors that colleges consider in the admissions process include Grade Point Average (GPA), extracurricular activities, essays/personal statements, recommendations, interviews, and standardized test scores like the SAT and ACT 5 4 3 2 . These elements collectively provide a holistic view of the applicant. Colleges evaluate the strength of extracurricular activities, course rigor, essays, and other soft factors against their admissions standards, aiming for a well-rounded student body 4 . Additionally, colleges look at factors like class rank, the strength of the curriculum, personal qualities, and demonstrated interest in the institution 2 . While each college has its own evaluation process, a student's grades, course rigor, test scores, essays, recommendations, and extracurricular activities play crucial roles in the admissions decision
