Im our college there is a placement cell. so placement is available and get some students to job. The criteria is no back logs. The highest salary packages is offered 15000 starting salary experienced worker get more salary.

The placement are good and many passout students were placed from my college and some are now currently looking for job and the average package is 100000 and the percentage of students placed is moderately good

To be eligible for placement students must obtain good academic records with a minimum cgpa of 7 or 8 cgpa and have minimal backlogs and complete any necessary soft skill or technical training provided by college placement cell. Companies like wipro, hcl,tata, KSEB, keltron and other local and regional firms recruits students from there. The highest package offered were about 3-5 lakhs per annum for technical firms and average ranges from 1.5-3 lakhs per annum. The placement percentage is slightly decreased in recent years due to improper inactivity of placement cell. After graduated the polytechnic am now studying btech at government engineering college wayanad.
