- The faculties are well graduated and students can easy to learn from them.
- With various events and fest held annually, the students can have a enjoyful campus life there
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is likely more congested
- Lack of activeness of placement cell decreased the chance of students to get placed in companies
Remarks :
Kmct polytechnic college kozhikode is one of the best polytechnic college in kerala and is the college which has the most branches of engineering in Kerala(ten branches). They have better lab facilities and lab faculties which helps to progress the technical skills of students. I haven’t faced any group discussions, interviews or written tests to get admission. It is based on 10th std marks and 12th std marks for the lateral entry students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Choosing electrical and electronics engineering at kmct polytechnic can Provide a strong technical foundation in both electrical system and electronic devices Preparing students for versatile roles in the industry. The faculty at kmct polytechnic is well qualified, holding degrees in their fields with practical experience. The exams are held at every semester which has a duration of almost 5 months.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven’t offered any placement in kmct polytechnic because i was ready to opt higher studies in btech and now i studying btech in GEC wayand. I have done setting of smart classroom in my final year project.
Placement Experience :
To be eligible for placement students must obtain good academic records with a minimum cgpa of 7 or 8 cgpa and have minimal backlogs and complete any necessary soft skill or technical training provided by college placement cell. Companies like wipro, hcl,tata, KSEB, keltron and other local and regional firms recruits students from there. The highest package offered were about 3-5 lakhs per annum for technical firms and average ranges from 1.5-3 lakhs per annum. The placement percentage is slightly decreased in recent years due to improper inactivity of placement cell. After graduated the polytechnic am now studying btech at government engineering college wayanad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For a semester at KMCT polytechnic kozhikode, there is almost Rs12500/- is obtained as tuition fee and yearly it is almost Rs27000 to be paid. Caution fee is about Rs2000 has to be paid at the time of admission. Including lab, development and other fees almost another 2000 rupees need to be paid at the beginning. There is tuition fee reduction for the students who have scholarship like egrantz.
Campus Life :
Yearly arts fest,christmas,onam fests are held at kmct polytechnic. There is no much other fest occurs there. Kmct consists of a medium sized library which has wide range of books, journals and technical reference materials. Annual sports and games are held yearly nearly in the month of december. Social groups like National service scheme and National cadet corps(NCC) are there at kmct.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven’t choose any management or private hostel because i was an day-scholar at the college who comes by vehicle. My friends were there at private hostels outside campus. So I didn’t know much about college hostel.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
