good and affordable college but no placements.

What I Liked

infrastructure is average . there is an academic building , auditorium , 2 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel available.
faculties are good. their teaching method is also good. they encourage students for higher studies.

What I didn’t like

very bad placement conditions for ece and cse branches. no companies visit here.
too much restriction for students.

Placement Experience:

no placements in core and tech companies. only sales companies visit which gives a package of around 4 lpa. few civil branch companies also visit and offer roles to 4-5 students.no internships are provided ,students have to search it on their own.

Internships Opportunities:

college provided us an internship in salesforce which was unpaid. there we have both developer and administrator roles.no other internship have been provided to us by the college. students try for off campus to get internships and placements.

Review for B.Tech ECE at GEC Buxar (BEU)

What I Liked

College infrastructure is good , campus is of 8 acres. It has Academic Building, 2 boys hostel, 1 girls hostel , Auditorium, Faculty quarters.
Faculties are well qualified and supportive. Most of them either have phd degree or pursuing PhD from renowned institutes of India.

What I didn’t like

Mandatory Attendance of 75% is quite unnecessary for students.
In every fests , students need to organise with less support from college authorities.

Internships Opportunities:

College provided us an internship in Salesforce as Developer and Administrator roles of 2 months duration. But it was unpaid. And few branch also get to visit on an industrial visit of 1-2 day. Now, students get a leave of 4-5 weeks during summer vacation to do offline internship of 4 weeks.

Government Engineering College Buxar

What I Liked

The faculty is really supportive. The library is open till 7pm.
The campus is really good along with the library and sports facilities.

What I didn’t like

The mess is really not good and sometimes there is network problem because it is in the outskirts.
The market is a bit far if you need good product. The delivery is not available after 8pm.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities in this college is not really that much as it is recently shifted to a new location. The average package is 3LPA or 4LPA . After completing the degree I will appear for Government exams and Gate Exam.

Internships Opportunities:

We were taken to thermal power plant and power grid for the internship in the 7th sem and 3rd sem respectively. We are meant to prepare a project on this internship tour and submit it to the respective professors.

What I Liked

Environment over here is best for engineering students

What I didn’t like

We have to attend too many classes and have to follow strict rules

Placement Experience:

Various new companies are visiting us and students get recruitment too. Provide genuine package as a fresher. Core companies, sales companies all of them vist us and hire our students. Provides reasonable pay scale.

Internships Opportunities:

No I didn't went for any internship due some family reasons but there are various opportunities for internship and placement a seperate club has been formed fir this named asTPO training and placement office.

Truth of Gec BUXAR college under Bihar engineering

Placement Experience:

If you taking admission to any Bihar engineering you have to focus on government jobs because the placement of Bihar engineering is nearly zero. My plan after this course is to take an exam for the gate and do mtech from any IT college.
