A quick review of Katihar Engineering College

What I Liked

The college offers an affordable fee structure...
The college has a well-stocked library...

What I didn’t like

The food served in the hostel is not hygiene and lack of variety
Placement in this college is not impressive..

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent but not very competitive. Companies like Wipro, Infosys visit the campus.. The highest package is 7-8 LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA.. About 50% of student got placed in CSE

Internships Opportunities:

It offers several internship opportunities mainly with companies Tech Mahindra, TCS Roles are mainly in software development, coding, testing... Students work on real world projects likes app development data analysis and software testing

My college journey.

What I Liked

College infrastructure is good there are well design structure.
In college campus there is volleyball play ground .

What I didn’t like

College area is very small only 10 acere.
I don't like canteen because no good food available.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college is ok ok. In my college only startup company come for Placement some time big mnc company come for Placement. Average package of my college is 4.5 lakh and maximum is 7 lakh. My plan after completing the course is doing m.tech.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes recently i am doing a internship in Indian railway. Because Indian railway offer a internship . There are so many thing to do in Indian railway . There are lots of knowledge gain in Indian railway.
