Lively and Enjoyable.

What I Liked

The infrastructure is really nice. The campus is very big and lively as well as serene at the same time.
The faculty are very sweet and are always ready to help. You will feel hone around the people at campus.

What I didn’t like

The administrator are very lazy and take way more time than usual to solve your problems.
The timings of the college is very off. Because they start the lecture in the morning and the lecture continues till the evening. You may get breaks in between but classes till evening makes you exhausted.

Placement Experience:

The placement is very easy, because big companies like Amazon visit our campus every year. And placements are provided to 3rd year students in the beginning of 6th sem. You may get package of about 3lpa to 5lpa.

Remarks:

The language I want to study was not available in any other universities and colleges so I chose this. After JNU, this department of Delhi University is very best for getting an honours degree in foreign language.

Reviewing b.a (hons.) italian in departmet of germanic and romance studies.

What I Liked

everywhere are greenary which relaxes your mind
the single department out of whole university who provide good number of placement.

What I didn’t like

no extra curricular activity, and drinkable water can sometime disappoint you
no grounds for sports like cricket or football

Placement Experience:

last year amazon visited here and around 90 to 95 per cent of them got placed which shows the opportunity for growth in this Italian language. even an average student can get placed if he starts studying at the appropriate time.

Remarks:

This is the single department out of the whole university that provides a bachelor's degree in languages which makes me choose this department additionally placement opportunities are quite higher than any other courses in du. they provide quality teaching at a cheap price.

What I Liked

there is beautiful garden which tends to be the main center of spot durings winters.

What I didn’t like

there are bunchs of societies but all are inactive.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility for placement is simple you have to clear the semester without back .one can easily get placement in big companies like amazon etc. the minimum package offered by the companies is 600000 per annum and the maximum depends upon the eligibility of the student

Remarks:

The Department of Germanic and Romance studies pursues European languages Italian, German, Spanish, and French. You can obtain a B.A. (Hons.) degree in this course. to get enrolled you have to take the CUET exam and qualify for the program the minimum mark you have to obtain is 550 from 800 to get enrolled.

Perfect place to take admission

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I choose is very unique not offered in many universities in India and the teachers are very good and understanding here too. No extracurricular activities are here. But at the end of the year, the batch organizes a program within themselves. The fees are also very cheap.

Remarks:

I chose this college because I wanted to pursue foreign languages and this college is best for it. The course which I chose was very unique and was not offered in many universities. Before applying to this university you have to take an entrance exam which is CUET to get admission here and the exam is easy.

My peace place

What I Liked

I like most of the things about the college like infrastructure and buildings, beautiful garden
There is not much crowd here and the people here are also very helpful.

What I didn’t like

There should be one AC in every class...
Water cooler is not working properly, it should work properly and desk and chairs should be changed.

Placement Experience:

3rd year students become eligible for placement. Big companies come to hire them like Amazon, Wipro, Boat, and many more. 2nd year students become eligible for internships and only one company comes in it, Amazon in which they excel in translation, product checking, and email checking.

Remarks:

I chose this college because This is the only college of Delhi University that teaches foreign languages Regularly and There is not much crowd in this college: The infrastructure is very good: I had to take the CUET exam after 12th to get admission.

An overview of DGRS

What I Liked

The campus is beautiful and full of greenery and all of this refreshes the mood after lectures.
There is not much rush here, so one can enjoy peace while studying.

What I didn’t like

The supply of drinking water is very bad. Water is full of chemical smell and is not drinkable.
There are not many fests which makes the college life kind of boring.

Placement Experience:

No placements are offered in the college. But almost every student from the Italian language gets a well paid job. Average package being 7.5 LPA. I am planning to pursue for master's in Italian language and make a career in the teaching sector.

Remarks:

Everyone who has appeared in the CUET exam conducted by the NTA and has given exam in the three domain subjects and one language subject, is eligible for this course. The application form for CUET can be found on official CUET website. After the results of the exam, students have to register on the CSAS portal operated by the University of Delhi and fill the college and course preference list individually. If you want to get into this particular college, you have to place it as the first preference. There are no interviews or GD for admission. I chose this college because I wanted to have a degree in any European language and as per the market trends, there is a great scope in Italian language. Apart from this, the campus is very well maintained and it seems very beautiful to me.
