BITS School of Management was established in 2001, under the aegis of BITS Pilani. So far, the college is popularly known for its flagship course, Masters in Business Administration.

BITSoM Mumbai MBA is offered in five specialisations: Leadership and Strategy, Marketing and Consumer Insights, E-Commerce and Digital Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Finance and Investments. Candidates can opt for two specialisations in the final year of this program. The candidate should have cleared graduation from a recognised university, along with being a valid CAT/GMAT/GMAT Focus/GRE rank holder. The admission committee shall also take into consideration work experience, exemplary record of academics and extracurricular achievement, and leadership potential. Strong written and verbal communication skills shall also be assessed. Selection of shortlisted candidates is based on a personal interview. The total intake is 160 seats. The total fees for this two-year MBA program is Rs 28.55 Lakhs.

BITSoM Mumbai grants scholarships based on merit, merit cum need and to women. All students are considered for merit scholarships, by default. For eligibility to the merit-cum-need based scholarship, the applicant’s family income, including applicant’s personal income should not be more than INR 18 Lakhs annually. The institute has collaborated with multiple banks like SBI, IDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank for educational loan purposes.

BITSoM Mumbai Placements 2024 were a grand success. 136 students were successfully placed, out of 138 students. INR 50 LPA was the highest CTC offered, while the average package stood at INR 23.41 LPA. The median package was recorded at INR 24 LPA. Some of the top recruiters included reputed organisations like Accenture, Deloitte, Ernst&Young, Bosch, McKinsey & Company, and Ultratech. BITSoM Mumbai Summer Internship Placement witnessed the highest stipend being offered at INR 4.75 Lakhs. The average stipend was recorded at INR 2 LPA. 126 students participated in the internship drive. BCG, EY, Gartner, PwC, Nestle, and ABG picked interns from BITSoM Mumbai.
