I did not live in hostel because my home is near to college, so I travelled daily. But my friends stayed in hostel. They told me hostel is inside campus and rooms are okay with basic things like bed, fan, table and chair. Mess food is simple, like roti, sabzi, dal and rice. Sometimes food is good, sometimes not. For hostel, students have to fill a form at admission time and submit it to warden. Fees is not very high, but it depends on room type. Some students also live in PG or rent rooms near college in local area. Those PGs are in walking distance and food is also available there. Locality is safe and market is nearby for daily needs.
Campus life in RPS College is good and enjoyable. Our commerce department arranged one trip to Manali during my batch. Many fests and events happen like Teachers' Day, youth festival, annual function, etc. These are mostly in September or October. There is a library in college with many books and journals, so we can study there also. Classrooms have fans, lights, benches and board, all basic things are there. Sports like cricket, football, kabaddi are also organised. Students can take part in games and other stage activities. During COVID time, college made WhatsApp groups for all departments so students and teachers can talk and share information. Some students joined NSS and did social work also. So overall, campus life is active and good for students.
