Life at K. J. SOMAIYA COLLEGE OF NURSING

What I Liked

Placement since they gave many opportunities to various students
Clinical exposure provide is pretty decent if the students are sincere and obedient

What I didn’t like

Faculty and campus life is literally a major disadvantage of the college. They give no attention on such things
Infrastructure is not that great but fee charged is of course great. Seriously.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is a 4 year course. The subjects include Anatomy, Physiology, Sociology, Psychology, English, Foundations of Nursing. The faculty is mostly local from Maharashtra and they mostly speak in Marathi. They all struggle in speaking English. There are few good teachers as well but most of them are aggressive and treat you like a school kid . Coming on to teaching methods, the teachers are unable to smoothly conduct a smart class . They lack presentation skills but can verbally make you understand the important points.
