What I Liked

The college campus is very beautiful and the faculty here are very cooperative.
The college campus students is very overwhelming.

What I didn’t like

To be very honest infrastructure quality is very poor.
Their is very poor cleanliness in the college campus.

Hostel Facilities:

The quality of food in the hostel is average and menu is also average. Registration process for hostel is through college admission and the hostel is very much affordable. I basically leave in MP Nagar Zone 2 in a room.

Campus Life:

To be very honest fest happens very rarely in RGPV. Their are plenty of books and journals in the library for students. The amenities in class room are good. Sports and extracurricular activities happens very often. Their is Ecell department for social groups and different types of clubs, and website run by themselves.

SOIT RGPV - Get CS specialization in affordable fees for good ROI

What I Liked

The ROI of this college is better than most of the private colleges in Bhopal . There's a major chance that you won't get any job even after spending lakhs in other private colleges .
College campus is beautiful and very big . It includes a pahadi and very greenery . So it's very beautiful campus due to the mountains

What I didn’t like

The college doesn't have any canteen for now . There's only a AMUL shop available which doesn't offer much things to eat
College placements is not quite good and also there is ragging in this college .

Hostel Facilities:

Food quality of DS mess is good . Also you have loads and loads of options for food . You can opt for any private tiffin services also . And you can go for college mess also . There are three boys hostel and all of them have a decent mess . Also mess services are very affordable here

Campus Life:

There are loads of club and societies in our college now . However they are all new and have started since last year only . Also , our infrastructure is a bit poor because there is no network coverage and also campus is too big so we have to walk a lot .

Honest review about SOIT RGPV

What I Liked

I like the hostel life most. When you live far from your home hostel is your another home where you met different type of people and among them some remains with you the whole life.
The campus is good. Our college has 250 acres campus with 4 hostels for boys and 1 for phd students and 2 big girls hostel. There is also a tekri in our campus where in the evening you can enjoy sunset and can see the flights take off and landing.

What I didn’t like

Politics in college is always a ruckus . Sometimes they create nuisance which makes the environment toxic.
College is not that much good in terms of placement so if you're thinking that getting a job will be easy then it can be a heartbreak for you.

Hostel Facilities:

Food quality and menu are good. Registration is done at the time of admission. I didnt rent any pg or room ,but available nearby like abbas nagar, sanjeev nagar, anmol city , aero city colony , IT park

Campus Life:

Many fests are conducted like sports,cultural and technology related in winters. Library is available which is very good. Sports activity are fun. Ecell, gdsc , ieee,dome club are there. Recently cultural fest pravah is conducted in our college.

Honest RGPV Review

What I Liked

Hostel life, Campus infrastructure and beautiful environment.
The flexibility in academics by not pressurizing for attendance.

What I didn’t like

Campus placements and government college attitude of administration department.
Political interference of abvp and nsui.

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel rooms are good and food quality is average. We have to apply for hostel at the time of admission and it is done on the basis of merit list and it is quite affordable. We can rent a room in nearby colonies like Anmol city ,Patanjali houses and abbas nagar.

Campus Life:

When i took admission in the college, that was covid period so i thought due to covid no fests are conducted in the campus but as i spend some years here i realised that it was not due to covid but it is the college administration who is not interested in fest and all. The library and Knowledge Resource Center is good that is a plus point otherwise there is nothing interested in college.

Overall NICE

What I Liked

I mainly liked the curriculum , infrastrusture , library, green campus.
infrastructure is really amazing. It offers a huge library , Elabs and green environment

What I didn’t like

the placements are horrible only few students got placement opportunities last year.
AI and ML is a experimental batch , No placement assurance.

Hostel Facilities:

The food quality is inconsistent,with meals often being bland and repetive. Very poor in terms of hygiene and cleanliness. There are different hostels for every year students. the hostels are less cleaned with average rooms, but although they are good enough, they are common toilets for every student. The registration process for hostels is lengthy and so confusing, better to take PG or rental rooms in the city.

Campus Life:

campus life is vibrant, specially in social activities. There are many tech and non tech clubs to join and boost your productivity. The university hosts several major events with main fests,Techfests and cultural events. The campus is very large with a huge library the student can easily access books and study easily in library its very huge. There is a huge sports complex to promote sports activities, A sport fest mahasangram is also oragnised per year.

SOIT RGPV Review

What I Liked

The first thing that I like about my college is its course curriculum, great campus life, and great environment.
The second thing that I like the most about my college is that it gives us a lot of time in between semesters to focus on more on our skills and co-curricular activities. This is the decision I never regret.

What I didn’t like

The thing I dislike about my campus is unavailability of transport from college to main road, the campus is around 250 acres huge. The colleges are at last, and hostels at the other point. It takes around 2km walk to go out to main road. This is the biggest drawback here, having a commute of your own is mandatory here.
The other thing that I don't like about my college experience is that we don't have a gym of our own. A gym is very much required in a campus. Either gym or transport should be made available to save time of students here in campus.

Hostel Facilities:

I am a hostler in my college, The facilities provided by college is very reasonable as per the charges, the charges are very minimal, the mess food is also decent as per the charges of 2600 per month. Sometimes mess food is horrible, but mostly they give good food. The facilities in hostel ae pretty good, a room have 2 lights, fan, switch boards, a table, a bed, a chair for students. There are no extra charges on other facilities, electricity is free. The locality around here is Patanjali Parisar, costs around 2k to 3k per month and tiffin services cot around 3k a month.The cost of living around college is not that much, max it costs around 6k a month for a single room and 3 times meals.

Campus Life:

Life at campus at here School of Information technology, University Teachings Department, Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Bhopal, is very good. We attend classes, seminars, hackathons, events, also a lot of different events, happening. The campus offers good fooding facilities during college timings, we can enjoy a lot. There is a lot to explore in college campus that might take around 1 semester to explore everything.
