Maharashtra State CET Cell specifies MAH MBA CET 2025 eligibility criteria that candidates must check before applying for the MAH CET 2025 exam. It specifies factors such as nationality, educational qualification, age, and domicile that determine eligibility for MAH CET 2025.

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised institute. They must score at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying exam.
  • Candidates must be 21 years or above. There is no upper age limit to appear for MAH MBA CET 2025.
  • There is no limit to the number of attempts one can take for MAH CET.

MAH CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Here is the MAH CET 2025 eligibility criteria overview for candidates to consider before applying for the exam:

  • Finish 10+2+3 years of education.
  • Complete a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised institute.
  • Score a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
    • Reserved category candidates from Maharashtra get a 5% relaxation in the qualifying marks.
  • Final-year candidates are also eligible for the MAH CET exam.
  • Appearing for other MBA entrance exams: CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT and ATMA.

MAH CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State (MS) Candidates

MAH CET aspirants from the state of Maharashtra are categorized into 4 types. MS Candidates must satisfy the following type-specific eligibility criteria for MAH CET.

MS Candidate: Type A

An individual will be considered MS Candidate Type A if they meet any of the following MAH CET eligibility criteria:

  • Passed 10+2 and qualifying examination from Maharashtra.
  • Passed Diploma in Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy from Maharashtra.
  • Born in the state of Maharashtra.

MS Candidate: Type B

One will be considered as MS Candidate Type B if they satisfy one of the following MAH CET eligibility criteria:

  • Domiciled in Maharashtra
  • Either parent is domiciled in Maharashtra.

In such cases, the candidates may not be born or have studied in Maharashtra to qualify as MS candidates.

MS Candidate: Type C

A candidate will meet MAH CET eligibility criteria as MS Candidate Type C if:

  • Either parent is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking, posted in Maharashtra.
  • They must report for duty before the last date for MAH CET registration.

MS Candidate: Type D

An aspirant will be eligible for MAH CET as an MS Candidate Type D if:

  • Either parent is an employee for the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking.
  • They might be deputed in another state or department.

MAH MBA CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for All India (AI) Candidates

To apply as an Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) Candidate, aspirants must satisfy the following MAH CET eligibility criteria:

  • Passed 10+2 and qualifying examination from an institute outside Maharashtra and not affiliated with any Maharashtra-based university.
  • Passed 10+2 from Maharashtra and the qualifying exam from a college outside Maharashtra affiliated to SNDT Women’s University.
  • Do not satisfy any eligibility criteria to be considered as MS candidate Type B/C/D.

MAH MBA CET 2025 Reservations

Maharashtra State CET Cell has special reservations for backward-class candidates from Maharashtra. The reserved categories are as follows:

  • Scheduled Caste (SC)
  • Scheduled Tribes (ST)
  • Vimukta Jati/ Denotified Tribe (VJ/DT) - NT(A)
  • Nomadic Tribe 1 - NT (B)
  • Nomadic Tribe B - NT (C)
  • Nomadic Tribe c - NT (D)
  • Other Backward Classes (OBC)
  • Special Backward Classes (SBC)

Here are the MAH CET eligibility criteria that candidates must meet to qualify for special reservation:

  • Provide Caste Certificate as proof
  • Belong to the state of Maharashtra

MAH MBA CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Persons with Disabilities

Candidates with disabilities will have special reservations under PwD. PwD candidates can be classified into three types:

  • PH1: Visually impaired
  • PH 2: Speech and hearing impaired
  • PH 3: Orthopaedic and learning disabilities, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia, Spastic

Candidates must meet the following MAH CET eligibility criteria to qualify for PwD reservations:

  • Have a minimum of 40% disability.
  • The disability must be permanent.
  • Must fall under MS Candidate Type A/B.
  • Provide a certificate (Proforma-F) as proof.
