Earlier, TS EDCET 2024 exam was conducted on May 23, 2024. Authorities conducted TS EDCET 2024 in two shifts i.e. Shift 1 from 10 am-12 pm and Shift 2 from 2 pm- 4 pm. As per the officials, the qualifying percentile for the general category in TS EDCET 2024 will be 25 % of the aggregate marks i.e. 38 marks. TS EDCET Results 2024 Tiebreaker Rules
A merit list of the candidates will be published based on the total marks obtained in TS EDCET 2024. After declaration of TS EDCET result, If two or more candidates secure the same marks, tie-breaking rules will be applied as follows:
- The candidate who has scored higher in Mathematics will be placed first.
- If the tie persists, the candidate with higher marks in Physics will be placed first.
- If the tie persists, the total marks in aggregate will be considered.
- If all the above rules fail, the older candidate will be given preference.
